My husband requested to eat here on our next trip, based on how it looked from times we have passed it. I looked up some reviews on TripAdvisor and they were terrible, to say the least. Anyone with recent experiences here?

Not recent experiences personally but the last time my wife and I ate there, pre-pandemic, we were impressed with the food. Service was also fairly quick but there were a lot of people there.

We were there just there a couple of weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. We’d been there a few times pre-pandemic and it was underwhelming. We needed a dinner reservation recently and that’s what was available…

This time it was a group of 6…all felt the ingredients were really fresh and delicious. It’s kind of a step above Olive Garden, IMHO. Everyone had a different kind of pasta dish and we all shared a few of the bruschetta apps. That was really good. Shared a bottle of wine and one of the friends had some kind of vodka cocktail. It was fun!

We were there in October. Thoroughly enjoyed the location, service, and food. We showed up quite a bit early for our reservation, but they seated us almost right away.

The two of us split the bruschetta, caprese salad, and vegetable lasagna. The server was happy to talk through if that was the right amount of food for us, and made sure we had sharing plates and serving utensils. Bruschetta and salad came out first… lasagna a little later. Check came promptly and they took our MK discount.

macaroni grill level food. yes, naples is better, but a trek to DTD and equally long waits and even slower service.

Try the wine flight with good options. lasagna and spaghetti are solid options.

I’ve only been there a couple of times, but the last time was September, and it was very good service and food. But then, we like it because they have good gluten- free pasta on offer, so we have more choices than many other places.

Two WCT thoughts "just in case"

1) Request to be seated outside. The inside can be very loud with young kids and bad acoustics. There's not much seating inside anyways... but just don't be one of them.
2) In the off-chance you have one of those heavy rain nights, WCT can be overwhelmed because they close the outdoor seating and left with outdoor covered and indoor only (roughly half). Change your reservation, or check-in at the counter and explain you want to eat somewhere else and try again another time.

I ate there in September. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I’d pick another location

We dined here for dinner a few months ago. As stated it was Macaroni Grill level. Food arrived hot and was good. Service was very good. Wine was better. 🙂 Actually we like better than Naples which has disappointed the last few visits.

We ate there on Thanksgiving and all enjoyed our meal tremendously. I do agree with the above poster who said to request sitting outside (unless it’s raining).

Add us to the list who like it better than Naples.

Naples used to be better. Last two visits did not compare to three years ago.

I'd also agree - sitting outside is the best option, at least Southern California has the weather where that is an option 95% of the time. Not that we've had any problem with other people's children being loud when we have been there. We have to remember to cut "the kids" some slack, after all, they're excited to be at Disney which is understandable.

One of our favorite places to eat in the parks. Had a fantastic meal there in October. It was a actually quite a bit better than pre-Covid. We ALWAYS request to be seated outdoors.

I ate here 3 years ago on my first DL trip, longtime WDW goer. It was honestly terrible. The pasta dish was covered in red pepper flakes and it was inedible. Very disappointed. Officially, off our list.

Thank you for sharing this. I just booked a reservation knowing they have gluten free pasta available.
