The special dessert buffet offers basically the same seating as the restaurant. Even when paying for the dessert buffet, you aren't guaranteed a paradeside seat. You would still have to push up against the people sitting wallside to properly see. We went for dinner on Fri or Sat (can't remember!!) walked up (no PS) and were told 40 min, which would put us there right before the parade started. They seated us in 15min in the middle area by the fountain. I didn't ask for the tables along the wall because I was so grateful just to get a table, but as it turned out, they didn't even seat those tables. It ended up being a real hassle to "push up" to the other diners to view the parade. A couple of ladies seemed offended at our presence (only the kids went up to watch). I was surprised at this, but would ask for that wallside table in the future or plan on eating and moving down to view the parade. The ramp/stairs are blocked during the parade, so you won't be able to view from there and pop back to the table. I have to say it was so nice to relax and just listen to the parade music while sipping my wine. It was a really memorable night.
