Okay, so I know Disney's new policy does not allow you to bring wine onboard at embarkation. What is the policy if you buy wine during the cruise in foreign ports? We booked the WBTA and Portugal has some great wines we want to get -- but don't want to get back to the ship and find out we can't take them onboard. Thanks.

Each adult over 21 in your stateroom can bring on 2 bottles of wine at each port. If you are wanting to purchase more wine than that to take home, DCL will store it for you and you can pick it up the last morning before disembarking.

Oh, thanks. For some reason I thought the new policy didn't allow wine being brought onboard anymore -- or is that other liquor!

Hard liquor is totally prohibited. They do allow 2 bottles of wine OR 6 beers per adult (21 and over) to be brought on board at embarkation and at each port of call. The bottles of wine must be 750ml or smaller.

You can bring hard liquor on board, you just have to surrender it at the security check. They will hold it for you until the end. I think your comment is directed to mean "bringing onboard for consumption in the stateroom".

@RedSox68 You can bring even more than your allowance on board, but it will be stored, so if you really want to stock up, you will have the opportunity to claim it the morning you debark from the ship. Depending on the amount, you may want to bring a suitcase with you to pick it up! :D

Yes, thank you. And because we don't have to take a flight home, it will be very convenient.

You are correct. I should have clarified that it was prohibited for consumption in the stateroom but could be stored for pickup at the end of the cruise. Thanks for adding that!
