Or just do the existing plan as if this week was the 8 mile week... 8.0, 9.5, 11.0, and end it with 12.5 on Week 16. You will be fine at the race even if 12.5 is the longest you go in the training.
I did not do the 14 miler for Tinker Bell and I'm not doing it again this time. I'm not exactly sure what I *am* doing for the Weeks 15 and 16 runs, since I'm offset by a week so my Week 15 would have been the 14 miler. But it's not going to be 14 miles for either of them.
The Tinker Bell beginner plan had the last 2 long runs as 13.0 and 14.0. I did them as 13.0 and 12.1 (I had planned to just do 13.0 again and had to bail out due to blisters starting in new shoes).
I think I'll plan to do a step back on Week 15 to a medium distance run, like 6-7 miles, and do another 12.5 on Week 16 instead of the 14.0.
