Keels, The Mouseketeer is super cute. Figment is a good idea as well. I too thought I'd save the princess costume till GSC. I even thought of doing a silver tech look for spaceship earth. So many choices and so much fun.

And then there's Figment. Which is totally EPCOT, but would take a little creativity to come up with. Which may very well be the front-runner at this point.

I thought about Figment as well, because I love Figment! So, that's my vote.

Has anyone started thinking about costumes? I have like A MILLION ideas, but I can't really decide!

I have lots of costume ideas! Most of which I found on Pinterest! I was trying to avoid dressing as a character because I thought since its the Food & Wine Festival, it might kind of neat to find something to represent one of the World Showcase countries.

Lots of great ideas. We debated about a costume, but then I decided it was going to be too much work and DH wasn't too excited about it anyway.

Right now I'm thinking about getting the Wine a Little sparkle skirt


and then get a custom t-shirt made again. We saw some people running at Bentonville with the saying "Drinker with a running problem" on it and thought that was pretty cute. But, not sure what to do yet.

I'm jealous of all y'all that can get your men to wear costumes. I keep begging my husband and he's all "my costume is I'm dressing as a guy running a half marathon."

I guess when he wears a beer shirt, it will basically be like a costume for W&D.

Sounds like me. My wife and I will probably have some type of coordinating shirts that she will make. We usually wear matching shirts as a family, so not positive what her plans are for the two of us yet.

Run Costume! I can't even get my husband to run. He says I don't run unless I am being chased. He's not a big Disney fan either. He might be my travel buddy for W&D if grandma can watch the kids.
I just bought a silver sparkle skirt and silver visor. Was thinking a silver sparkle look that gives a futuristic kind of look/ Spaceship earth. Or maybe just pink and silver sparkle.
I saw that skirt and thought how cute for W&D. Very cute.

He sounds like my husband. When I signed up for my very first 5K and told him, he looked at me horrified and said, "You didn't sign me up did you?!", lol. I told him no but he could come watch. He is not even a Disney fan! The only reason he is coming on our trip in September is because all the kids are meeting us there and we are staying off property at Bonnet Creek resort. Luckily DD25 is a runner and Disney fanatic like me so she will be my travel buddy for W&D.

I love your Spaceship Earth idea! I think I'm going to try to make Figment happen. I found a pattern for a sparkle skirt that I'm going to try to sew next week and see if I can sew a little pouch in the waistband.

I don't want to give my husband TOO much grief - he is running the two races this year with me, despite hating the half distance and running in general.

I love hearing everyone's ideas! I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. For the Jingle Jungle 5K, me and DD are probably going to wear an animal print skirt with maybe Christmas Minnie ears. For the half I was just thinking a play on words with "Wine" in it for the shirt, I'm not sure about the bottoms yet. haha I'm not too creative. If I do the Glass Slipper in February, I'll probably get more creative.

I can't get my DH to run either...he's likes to race cars instead. I'm hoping DD will get into racing more, I need a buddy. haha

With all the inspiration for costume ideas we're going to be one well-dressed group come November!

So I think I have decided that I need to get a parking pass for the CA State Parks so I can keep exploring and then start doing my long runs along the coast at the beaches without paying $15 every time. I had way too much fun hiking the past couple of days - we ended up going to Crystal Cove in Newport Beach yesterday and it was just glorious (also only the second time I have gone to the ocean since I moved to SoCal ... a little mad at myself for that one).

Annnnnnnd I'm so excited right now. I ordered some new running shoes (no store I could get to easily carries the Brooks I run in, gah) and they arrived today! Best mail day I've had in awhile. Now I'm so excited to start running in them tomorrow.

By the way, anyone else own/use a fitbit? My co-workers are going crazy and getting super competitive over their step counts, it's hilarious!

OMG! those are so cute. DD fell in love with a peacock sparkle skirt. I'm still looking for mine. Did you make the Minnie ears? I've never seen them before.
