Wine and Dine 2015

Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't follow it past the waiver. That is a password that rundisney gives out, not one you make :( With my botched registration that is how they gave me permission to go in

Edit - this makes me think that they are having to do the same again...call them! Ask for a supervisor!
I called there is a message that says the wine and dine is sold out, if you have questions on something else, leave a message and that's it. Boo.

I about croaked when I got to the registration page and was SOOO excited!! Then I got the password invalid error, too. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

I called Run Disney. It gives a voice recording that says the Wine and Dine has sold out. If you have questions about any other event, you can leave a message. Darn, I was so hopeful.

I too was thinking maybe there was a second chance at entering, but got the password message... :(

It keeps putting my responses in quotes above. So lets try this.
@ThinkTink09 -- Correct. RD is a package! I think just because it is through a division of Disney travel company which handles packages, since it is basically a group rate. Room only goes through a different division usually. And it is great! It qualifies for 6 months 0% interest on Disney visa (which they only give you for packages) so it helps me out as an AP holder!

Re: the facebook posts -- I saw a lot of "they should make it a lottery." To me, that makes no sense. It is a fun/family/come take a vacation and spend $$ with us, trip. I think lottery is more useful for the very "serious" runs vs. fun runs.

Re: the fun virtual waiting rooms -- The waiting period was definitely used during PHM - I had to get in 1 half entry and 2 for the 5k so I was very familiar with it :) I think I actually got it for TOT in 2014 also, but only for a minute or 2.

Re: post race party tickets -- Not sure if I can find someone to come with me, probably will not know for quite some time really, so not sure what to do about those!

@Keels -- yes in for a meet up! Maybe a F&W night would be fun for those that can make it, and something pre-race at WWOS!

So sorry for those of you still looking! I'd give you my password but they said it was individual to me and would only work once :( GL finding charity bibs! I have faith!!

Yes, that should definitely move you up from the last corral. If the corrals are approx. the same as last year, you would likely be placed in Corral G or H, and the corrals go up to L.

Just curious, because I saw your user name has a "MD"--is that for Maryland? Is the April 10 miler the Cherry Blossom? I ask because I am running Cherry Blossom, my first time :)

Yes, MD stands for Maryland and yes the 10 miler we are running is the Cherry Blossom, it is our first time as well. We will have to see if we can meet up somewhere and say hi.

I'm from Maryland as well :) Good luck to both of you with the Cherry Blossom 10 miler! I just ran Rock and Roll DC as my 2nd half and I'm going to hold off on more long races for a couple months. I have a couple local 5ks and 10ks on tap though and probably a 10 miler in October as that should fit in well with the Wine and Dine training.

I am still new to WDW as we have only been once (last month) and my daughter did all the reservations, so forgive me if this is a stupid question... If I am staying offsite (Bonnet Creek) can I still make ADRs for my trip in September? DD25 and I are AP holders (due to the number of trips we will be making this year!), but the rest of our party won't have tickets until much closer to our travel date (Sept 18). If I can make ADRs at 6 months, can I make them for our full party of 8? Thanks!

You should be able to make ADRs for your whole party at 180 days. For those staying on-site, they can make ADRs at 180 days for their whole trip (at least 10 days of it) so they can do it all at once. For those staying off-site, you will have to go in at 180 days to make each days ADRs. For example, you can go in at 180 days before November 6th to make the ADRs for November 6th. You would have to go in the next day to make ADRs for November 7th and so on. I hope that makes sense. I'm staying at Bonnet Creek too :)

Oh, hurray! I realized today that there is a link to "view/print your receipt" in the payment confirmation email that goes to a different page than the "view your registration" in the registration confirmation email. The registration one was the one that kept giving me an error that I wasn't authorized to view it. But the payment one let me see what I entered, and now my mind is at ease... I did click the C2C button correctly. :D

Thanks so much for the info! We have a whole family vacation at Bonnet Creek in September and I wanted to see if I could get us in to Be Our Guest for lunch. That is probably the only ADR I will do as we will have the kitchen at Bonnet Creek. For the W&D, just DD25 and I will be staying at Bonnet Creek in a 1 bdrm deluxe. I have never actually stayed there so I am really looking forward to it! She and I will probably do more eating out, to avoid going back and forth to our room. We went in February and park hopped all day in the rain. We did great with staying from open till close, even when I was sick with a cold! :)

I am not sure as I don't stay off-property. I'm sorry!

I also haven't heard back from the ASPCA or AACR. I am on the wait list for St. Jude though. (Which was actually my first choice charity.)

I called the number. No one will even answer. There is a VoiceMessage that says they are sold out and will not be able to add anyone.

I just wish they had sent out some sort of notice. My friend got in yesterday and when she went to register me, it sold out like one min. before (maybe not even that.)

She is now still running alone and stuck with no one with her.

I feel sick about this.

I think the passwords are those distributed by the charities and travel agents- my travel agent told me I would get a password that would allow me to register for the race

Bummer for the false hope of more openings. Hoping those of you still trying through travel agents or charities are successful.

I would keep in touch with Travel Agents and Charities if I were y'all! I anticipate they'll all be receiving more bibs in the next few days.

Lots of people are posting on the RunDisney page that they contacted RunDisney about getting a refund because only one member of their family, etc., was able to register and that RunDisney is honoring those requests.

Wow! I'm really surprised they are doing that, but I think it's the right thing for them to do. I'm hoping that gives some people here another chance to get in!
