Wine and Dine 2015

Is that a runDisney Christmas ornament?! Finally!! I have wanted them to have those at the expos for years!! :)

Yes Aleve is not a good one to take especially for those that are already on blood thinners.

Just started taking cold meds a day ago. Wish I could go back to working in an office by myself. Going to running rather slowly for this event.

Odds of a medium Coast to Coast shirt still being there tomorrow?

As soon as you get off the resort bus at ESPN on the left is an ESPN merchandise store and for some reason they had several coast to coast shirts there in all sizes with no line to check out.

Great. Thanks so much. We aren't running this one but I got the wrong sized shirt for my wife at Disneyland so I'm hoping to make it up to her :).

In and out! Got my wine glass and my I did it shirt. Plus something to hold my phone/gu because I forgot mine. :sad2:

ETA: I just jogged around the resort a little and I LOVE this fitletic belt. My implus buys don't normally go this well!

They had a small wine bottle ornament that I contemplated for a while in line but it was overruled by an "I DID IT" sweaty band.

There were NO "I Did It" shirts at the merch corral in the packet pickup area. Finally saw them in Jostens when I doubled-back to track down another rD MagicBand.

I got two things I wanted (Wine & Dine hat and Medal pin) and was surprised for the third (Coast-to-Coast hat!).

Yeah that was one of the things that I noticed was only at the Jostens center in my post. Sucked @$$ because I waited in that MONSTER line just for that one thing.

Items I am debating getting tomorrow: raw threads shirts (I'm a villains kind of girl and they have a nice section of that), commerative medal plaque, medal display hooks (they were across from the commerative place), KT taping (that line was redonkulous all day)

Things I'm glad I got: mr cool stuff ($100 buys a lot there but is money WELL spent), random sparkle skirt (was marked down), tinker bell shoes, more bondi bands

Things I'm iffy on: the I did it shirt. The woman there was sizing 90% of people up (i.e. Ask for small and she'd recommend a medium) and she made a face when I tried on the medium shirt. I liked how it fit better than the large I ended up buying- but she swears this batch is gonna shrink

Did anyone else get butterflies on the way in and out seeing the port a potties, med tent, start area, corrals, etc already set up or off on the side of the road???

Me, Me,Me!!! This is my first wine and dine and the set up is so totally different. Seeing the corrals right there and starting over at WWOS. The whole newness has been scary yet so exciting!

Off topic the 1 thing I forgot to pack were my socks!! Does anyone know if there was a swift wick vendor at the expo?

I agree with you on the Dr Cool stuff. I bought a pair of the 4 inch long wraps a bout 1 1/2 years ago. They stay in freezer and I use them on the knees for every training run whether I need them or not. Feels really good.

Our resort bus headed to the expo at 8:30 so we were about 20th in line when they opened this morning. They opened at 9:30 and we headed right to the runDisney booth and got everything we wanted. :)

Then headed to pick up our bibs which was a bit crowded but not bad. But OMG the line for the pin pick up was ridiculous! Finally got our pins then back to other building for our shirts and bag check bags which had no line at all.

Spent the rest of the day moving off site to Bonnet Creek then to HS for a Toy Story fast pass. Spent way too much time on our feet so headed back to our condo to relax. Just had grilled bacon and cheese sandwiches and now crashed on the couch watching MLB network lol. We are ready for bed right now! :)

We will take tomorrow much slower and take a nap for sure. And some pool time in the lazy river. :)

does anyone know where do I go to get a replacement of the gc that was mailed to my home? I do have a picture of the number

Tia

Message me if you want me to grab anything for you. I have to head back to grab something else after the 5K (and brunch!), but I should be there right around opening again.

I have a question about resort transportation. From the looks of the resort instructions, given to us at check-in, it seems we need to go on Event Transportation from POP to EPCOT then get a bus from there to WWoS (race night.) I thought that it said, on the website, that it was a direct route from a Host Resort to WWoS.

There should be a direct route between your resort and WWoS.

I almost wish I hadn't been so close to the front of the line at the expo... I saved a LOT of money at Tink by not going to the expo until the second day. :o That and not knowing about sparkle skirts yet! I ended up with 2 more.

Spent a long day today between the expo and MK and mishaps along the way. When I got back here from the expo and those long long lines at about 12:15, I was just planning to drop my stuff off and then hop on a bus to MK and meet my parents around 1, only I got back to my room at POFQ and my bracelet did not work. Housekeeping was right next door to me, so she tried hers and it didn't work. She let me into the room next to mine to call the front desk then I waited there for 20 minutes for someone to come let me in. The guy said that they have been having tons of dead batteries in the locks lately because of something new that got installed and is not hooked up right and instead of the batteries lasting 8-9 months, they are lasting days. Finally made it to MK, did a few rides, ate at Tony's, did a few more rides, then camped out to see the night time stuff (castle lighting, parade, Celebrate the Magic (which I had not seen yet and is very cool!), and Wishes). All that standing was rough. Then we walked back out to the bus stops and it took over 30 min to get a POFQ bus there. I was like noooo no more standing! :)

Tomorrow I have a FP from 9:20 to 10:20 for Soarin' and we'll probably walk around a bit, maybe do Test Track, then head out around 1 for lunch and resting.

I totally overdid it today too! My fitbit thing shows 6.3 7 miles walked (expo and DHS) and I haven't even made it all the way to my room yet. Which is the LAST room on the last hallway!

Hopefully a cool bath and a day of rest tomorrow will get me ready to go. Because to answer the earlier question- YES I get butterflies every time I see the line of portopotties at ESPN at the wine and dine expo! I'm so excited!!!!
