Wine and Dine 2015

I wish you could re-sell party tickets (or get a refund). We have one for SO that is going to go to waste now that he is not coming.

We ate there a couple years ago for the same reason ... We weren't impressed. Only my opinion though.

Brian
Can you tell me specifically what was bad about your dining experience? I'm on a tight timetable that day since I'm getting off the Dream mid morning and heading right to the expo. Thanks I appreciate your input...

I believe they are transferable, so you could sell it without repercussion from Disney. I'm sure there would be someone on the thread (myself included) who may be looking for a ticket. (My SO may be deciding he wants to go now....)

Sadly, the website says "Wine & Dine Finish Line Party tickets are non-refundable, non-deferrable, and non-transferrable." :(

Hmmm. I didn't realize that. But they don't have a name associated with them nor are they attached to any specific MyDisneyExperience account.....right?

You can sell them. As long as you haven't linked them to you MDE account Disney won't know that you sold them. Non-transferrable is for after you have already used a ticket and all ticket media has to say that in the State of Florida if is it only intended to be used by 1 person. It is so someone can't go to the party for 2 hour leave and then pass their ticket off to someone else for the last 2 hours.

We do the Downtown Disney thing ... Take in a movie ... Eat tummy compatible food pretty much anywhere down there.

Brian

We have Kona booked for breakfast, then hitting the expo. Was trying to figure out something to do in the afternoon, a movie sounds like a great idea.

By the powers vested in me by the State of Florida I hereby pronounce SO tickets transferable. You may now downgrade Significant Other Status to Insignificant Other...:duck:

Yes I think we can all agree here that if you sell the ticket to someone else at cost that really wants to go, it is a much better use of the ticket than wasting! I fully support helping other runner family/friends get involved in the festivities!

I am getting so excited now :)

I just looked at my running journal (Yes, I have a journal. And I am fully able to admit it is pink and has a pink pen attached to it, even though my favorite color is Jasmine turquoise). And I only have 2 long runs left before I leave. I was also just considering getting that food and wine sampler package because reports were that they were allowing you to use it on the $10 mixed drink options at the booths. If I have 4 or 5 of those drinks I had wanted to taste anyways over the whole day I have nearly covered the cost there! Plus, you know, Hanson seating. Passion fruit slush here I come...

Thanks everyone! I never actually looked at the ticket... I couldn't remember if it was like ChEAR squad where it was tied to someone's name. So if anyone is in need of one ticket, PM me and hopefully I can get the ticket into the hands of someone that can use it. :)

The food was simply bad. Maybe because of the expo rush?? My sandwich and my gf's burger were simply dry and yucky ... Like they'd been under a heat lamp for an hour or so.

That's why we have since opted out of WWoS for lunch, post expo.

Side note - the food vendors along the main walkway last year smelled delicious... So that might be a quick food option.

I have no fear that it is transferable and if you want to sell it, I am DEFINITELY in the market for one. Please let me know.

Thanks Brian for the info. It's a little nerve racking trying to find a place to eat with little time that will settle well for the evening run. This will be my first evening race :worried: but I'm super excited!! I hope you have a great run!! :tink:

I'm unsure of how to privately message you. Please let me know if you still have the ticket and how to contact you

We are eating lunch at Kona on race day, but we will have visited the expo on Friday afternoon. DH didn't want to have to rush off to a breakfast ressie no matter how late it was. And the lunch menu there is good for both of us. Well grab a light "dinner" at our resort.
