Windy day in Aulani

Today is a very windy day in Aulani. The pools have been closed most of the day along with the shops in the pool area like The Lava Shack, Mama's Snack Shop, etc. They closed the walkway in front of the Wai'anae tower between Ulu's and the tower entrance. Across the street, the wind blew down a tree in front of Monkeypods. Lots of palm tree leafs blown down.

I saw a report of a storm hitting Hawaii, but I didn't pay attention to where exactly. Stay safe!

No, not that I saw on the daily activities. By yesterday afternoon, they had opened up most of the pools and things had returned pretty much to normal, but there was still some wind and some events canceled. I forget the exact name, but the DVC party for 7pm last night was canceled.

But kudos to the landscaping team for getting things cleaned up quickly.

No school for most yesterday due to storm and now no public school on Friday due to yesterdayʻs cancellation which was on a teacher waiver day.
