Looking to hear from anyone who has been to Windsor Hills. Have the chance to get a 3BR/2Bath for 4 days the beginning of January before we go to OKW for 5 more days. Looks like a nice unit, by the pool and clubhouse.

How were the condos? What's nearby (supermarkets, restaurants, etc.)?
How close to the parks?

Any info greatly appreciated!

I have stayed at Windsor Palms ( an older sister site of Windsor Hills). We rented a townhouse with small "splasher pool". It was very nice, I would highly recommend it.

This is a link to Rt 192 right out of the developments. I LOVE Carrabberas! Also a good pizza place that delivers is Giordanos Yum! The map shows all the restaurants there. I hope this helps. :)

We are going back in 2007 and we will be staying in Windsor Hills or Tuscan Ridge (Tuscan Ridge is a bit further from WDW)

We stayed there this past June in a three bedroom townhouse with the splash pool. Everything is brand new and the location is great. You will be on Disney property in five minutes. You can get some real bargins for these units. Plenty of places to eat within five minutes. Real nice main pool and clubhouse which they were just finishing when we were there. I would recommend Windsor Hills to anyone looking to stay off site.

Are you looking to rent direct from the owner or via a management company?

I actually saw a unit listed by an owner on www.vrbo.com that looked ideal... right locaiton, right price and available at the beginning of January. Based on what I've heard, it sounds good! :cool1:

We stayed there in October. We rented a 5 bedroom villa, so I can't tell you much about the Condo's except they were all pretty close to the pool. The community pool is great. We had a pool at our villa but the kids wanted to go to the pool with the water slide. It was very easy to get to and from the parks, only took about 10 minutes to the Magic Kingdom (on low traffic days) If you want any more information just let me know, I would be glad to pass along anything I know from staying there.
