We got back from our stay at Windsor April 28-May1, and loved it!

Does anyone know about the Indian Creek Development? I've found a 4 bedroom house there to rent but I can't help but worry. It's extremely reasonable at just $90 per night for 14 nights. I just can't help but wonder what's wrong? Is this a bad area?

Indian Creek is a fairly new development. $90 per night for a 4bdr is a great rate in a reasonably close development. None of the areas around WDW are truly "bad" - it's all a big tourist trap. The biggest crime is all that stealing from you every time you sign a CC bill - they psych you into putting the gun to your own head.

This is the Windsor Hills thread! LOL That being said, Karen, a regular poster here on the DIS owns a home there, and is the new president of the Indian Creek HOA.

It's definitely not in a "bad" area, it's nearby Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island...etc, the location is actually great, and very close to Disney. There's no resort type clubhouse in Indian Creek, and it's not as new as some other resorts, so you may find owners there willing to discount more readily to get bookings, it's hard to say why someone is offering up their home so cheaply.

The one thing I think you always need to be careful of when you see discounted prices, is that it's not too good to be true. You do tend to get what you pay for. Meaning, what kind of amenities and condition is this home in?

Is is stripped? Nice? That kind of thing...or are they just a bit desperate to get some bookings?
