What's the difference b/w the two? We're going the 2nd week of December & a condo sounds perfect-away from the crowds/plenty of room....

Are there any other condos that would get us closer? This is our first time trying a condo, so I'm a little scared/nervous/unsure.:confused3 Any help would be soooo appreciated.

Thanks!

nothing really. Windsor Hills are 'newer'. Both are nice. The neighborhoods are literally across from one another. Both are all the way at the end of street. Both are really nice and come highly recommended. Windsor Hills has a newer pool area that appears more fun. Other than that, they are both equally nice.

Both were built by the same developer - Windsor Hills is the newer of the two, and has a waterslide and zero-entry pool. Both are nice resorts - don't be nervous, once you have stayed in your 'own' home you will wonder why you ever used a hotel!

We have stayed at both and the two differences are:

1. Windsor Hills is a few minutes closer to Disney
2. Windsor Hills has a slide in the pool (which is very slow according to my kids).

I noticed no difference in our units (WH did not appear newer) and the pool (other than the slide) was comparable.

If you need suggestions, we always stay with these owners and have never been disappointed. www.disneyneighbor.com

Good luck!

I am currently planning to book with these same owners .. my concern is finding the office off-site to pick up the keys. Our flight doesn't get in to the Sanford Airport until 10:10 pm so it will be close to midnight before we arrive. Did you find it difficult to find?

We are going with Windsor hills, solely based on the playground area, lol.
My 3 1/2 year old saw me looking at pics with my dh, and "decided" that is where we are staying!

We stayed at Windsor Palms. Very nice community. Our condo had a code entry, so new keys required. The owner emailed the code about a week before your vacation. Nice and quiet community, beautiful condo. We were at AK in minutes (using Sherberth Road, of course).

Good luck!

Does Windsor Palms not have elevators, meaning you have to hike up stairs several flights. Is this true?

Windsor Palms has ground floor, first, and second. Windsor Hills has five or six floors. The elevators were ok but not superfast.

We really liked working with this owner (we stayed at another one of their properties) in Windsor Palms:

My advice when picking a property is to go with an owner/management company that you feel comfortable with.
