So, I've seen tons of ppl talking about Windsor hills. Can someone or ones, please explain what this is? We are going next fall, but want to go with our RCI week, so it would have to be either RCI or wyndam or someone who excepts RCI. Thanks!:goodvibes

thanks for your response. I found this out once I googled it, but am now thinking this would be a good option for a couple years down the road. We are hoping to do a 4 or 5 family trip so we would be cheaper to do a house DEF!!!

Keep sending the info my way!!!

BTW, is the shuttle free and if not, how much pp?

The shuttle is not free and it's independent of Windsor Hills.
This is from a WH owner FAQs
How does the Windsor Hills Resort daily shuttle service work/operate/etc?

In the sundry shop in the Windsor Hills Resort clubhouse you can find schedules and make arrangements. Shuttle cost is $10 per person round trip to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, or Animal Kingdom. $14 per person round trip to universal, seaworld, and shopping areas. There is an information sheet at the clubhouse with the time schedule. The shuttle company is MAINGATE TRANSPORTATION. They can be called at # 407-390-0000. A taxi cab to Disney is $20 one way.. cab to Universal is $32 one way.... Don't forget it costs $11 per day for parking at Disney and Universal if you drive, although you can come and go freely from various parks, it's pay just once per day for parking at all of the Disney parks.

Do you all recommend a condo over house, and why, any certain location, and any certain owner? Thank you all again for your help!

If you want a couple of homes side by side, these two 6 bedroom homes are owned by the same owner and are next to each other and have gotten good reviews from other DISers that have stayed there. They are only a few houses from the big castle playground.

We have rented a townhouse in Windsor Hills in the past, as well as one in Windsor Palms, in the fall, always through vrbo.com. The rates were amazing, for 3 bdrm, each with a bathroom, kitchen dining area, livingroom and small private pool. Nothing fancy, but completely equipped and very comfortable.

The resorts were both immaculate, with friendly gatekeepers, and lovely common areas. Ten of us are leaving on Monday (YAAAAAAY!) for a 10 day stay in a 5 br/5bath house in Windsor Hills. It is just a bit closer to WDW and the recreation areas offer more for children who too young to spend 12 - 18 hrs in a park. I will subscribe to this thread and provide a review of our house when we return. Again... utterly amazing rate... we are paying less per night for the whole house than we would for a single room in a Moderate resort, and we seem to be as close (maybe closer) to the Magic Kingdom than some Disney resorts.
