Usually new owners will come in and improve all kinds of little things. The existing owner, wanting to sell the place, won't put $$ into it like a new owner will. We totally re-did our 2nd townhome when we bought it, same situation, and we honored all of the bookings in place! (Some at ridiculously low rates too!) Those guests got to enjoy a brand new 50" plasma TV, 42" plasma TV, things like Gamecube and games for the kids, and much more, (totalling roughly $20k), all at the reduced rate they had originally paid, a pretty good deal for them actually.
