Windsor Hills help

We are looking into staying at a place called Windsor Hills Resort that I heard about through the dis. From what I have seen on the website it looks wonderful! If anyone has been there I would LOVE to hear any and all comments/tips/photos...etc, anything you have about the place. Also thinking about booking it through Florida Sun Homes, if anyone has used this place or a different one I'd love to hear thoughts on that as well. THank you so much in advance. It will help us decide!!

We stayed at Windsor Palms and loved it which was built by the same developer. There are many postings regarding Windsor Hills on the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board. Check there.

We have stayed at townhouses in Windsor Palms, then Windsor Hills, and are now looking forward to returning to Windsor Hills this fall. This time, we have a big house, and the whole family. Windsor Hills is fabulous, in every way. The clubhouse, pool, and recreation areas are all lovely, immaculately clean and suitable for every age. The resort grounds are well kept, the Gatehouse personnel friendly and welcoming. In all, I couldn't think of a place I'd rather stay.

Oh, and you will be amazing close to WDW, as well as any services (grocery, pharmacy, shopping centres, etc) that you might need. I have recommended this resort to numerous friends.

You've made a great choice and I know you'll love it there. May the rest of your trip be just as magical!

I know Windsor Hills is not Disney World but do you feel like you are in a "resort" while staying there or like you are renting an apartment? My DH wants to stay onsite because he does not want to miss out on the resort feel of the vacation. He likes to come back and hang by the pool and lounge and relax for the night. He thinks we will be alone and there will not be a vacation atmosphere at Windsor Hills. Anyone have any input on that?

We got a condoin December last year it I was real nervous at first knowing nothing about it really but ut was wonderful we LOVED it the club house and pools were amazing the playground was awesome and the Condo Was Beautiful You can not go wrong staying here it is so close to everything and you can't beat the deals

We stayed at windsor hills last June for our very first disney trip and we loved it. We had a 3br condo thru floridasunvacationhomes and had no problems whatsoever!! It was super clean and the drive to the magic kingdom wasn't anymore than 12-14min. We have 3 kids and I loved all the space we had, along with the washer and dryer. I hate to go on vacation and come home with a bunch of suitcases full of dirty laundry, lol. Ours was on the first floor and the sliders opened to a screened in porch which opened onto a nice grassy area where the boys could play (where I could see them). We will no doubt stay at windsor hills again!

I haven't stayed there - but I know of 6 different couples who have all stayed there and all of them enjoyed it immensely. We would have booked there had we not been booking on points.
