Has anyone ever rented this house before. I sent the owner a deposit a week ago and have not heard back from him. I have sent several e-mails regarding my payment and have not recieved any word from him. I beginning to get worried. I don't know what to do! Does anyone have a contact number for Windsor Hills managment company?
 
which company did you go with? you can go to WH through many different management Co. :confused:
 
Relax! He probably either hasn't received it yet or hasn't recorded it and gotten back to you yet. Call if you have a phone #, I'm sure it's fine though.
 
I just heard back from him and all is confirmed. I rented it through him directly not via a rental company so I'm not sure which management company he uses. I am not familiar with the renting process does WH have one main management company or do they have several? Thanks for your help.
 

Each villa and townhouse/condo is individually owned and therefore there are several management companies that manage the properties at WH

Yes, and asking what management company is used is one of my standard questions every time we rent from an individual owner.
 
Have you had your vacation yet? We are thinking of renting the exact house but would love to hear what you have to say! I would appreciate any feedback!

We rented this villa from March 7-16, 2008 and had some unusual experiences. When I booked the house, the owner did not tell me it was up for sale (still is) and I felt very uncomfortable with the uncertainty of what could happen. I really did not get too much info from the owner. His emails were very brief. I had to research the house on the Global home website. The experience was basically just OK. We had issues with Global homes who managed the property, took them 3 bbq's before we got one that worked and they booked a house showing without asking our permission! I tried to email the owner about our experiences and his emails are bouncing back and when I phoned him, the number was no longer in service. :confused3

The house itself is fine. A little starkly decorated, mixmatched dishes etc., but had the basics. The air conditioning upstairs is very noisy in the upstairs queen size room and twin room. There wasn't any pool toys or pool skimmer (I bought pool noodles and left them for the next family), but the pool and spa were very warm and it was excellent having the south facing pool. The DVD player in the living room had a high pitched hum when we tried to play a DVD, which was very annoying. The major inconvenience was that the phone system in the villa would not allow us to use our phone cards to place international phone calls.

We really enjoyed Windsor Hills and have booked the house next door for next year. What a world of difference dealing with this owner. This time it has been a very positive experience.

Hi All - We're due to rent Bellevue in just a couple of weeks and are not getting a response from the owner. We've also tried his phone number and been told the line has been disconnected. Obviously we're in a bit of a panic as we have no details about the villa, no keys etc. Does anyone have any advice about how to contact the owner? Feel free to pm.
