Oh AAAAAaaaamy!!!!!! (I would have titled the thread that way, but I don't think I'm allowed to title a post with someone's name. LOL)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your dark transfer paper and you will be hearing from me (many times, I'm sure) before our trip next year to get more! I was wondering though if you knew where to get good window cling transfer paper? Do you have any or do you have any suggestions? When I do a google search it's really obscure, I'm not sure if window cling transfers are just not popular or what? :confused3

You can put put people's names in the title. Also, I have not purchased any yet, but you can get window cling transfer paper at hobby stores like Micheals.

huh, maybe in the DISign area it is allowed. I asked a DIS member on the main board a question by posting their username and one of the moderators edited it and sent me an email saying I should do that and should PM them??? :confused3

I have posted user names in the title to thank specific DISigners for their work when I have posted pics and others have posted user names to request help from specific DISigners...as far as I have seen it the posts have never been removed on the Creative Boards. Some DISigners that get TONS of requests prefer that requests are made on their specific thread and not get PM's. Anyways...the Creative Boards is very different from the rest of the DISBOards. One thing I have noticed is we are a lot friendlier. I have spent some time on the cruise board and they aren't as friendly over there...which maybe is why on other boards they don't like names posted in the title.

I could not help but smile at the first two words...

I do not sell window clings but when we went on our trip we did make some. I bought them from Staples or Office Max (I can't remember which). They say something about being 'repositional'. We printed them at home and then I used some spray on white vinyl paint (helpful hint from someone here on the DIS) to paint the 'background' white.

We put ours inside the window to show on the outside of the window - so I had to flip the design when I printed it and then paint the smooth side of the cling. I hope that made sense.

I had trouble finding the window cling paper so I just printed the designs on cardstock and laminated them- which I could do for free. I put in small hole in design how I wanted it to hang. I plan on using clear suction cup w/hook to hold in place in the window... a window sign versus a cling:goodvibes

What a great idea!!! Cardstock and laminating. I have several disigns that I wanted to hang in the window, but couldn't find an inexpensive way to do it. I found the window cling paper... called make your own removable "stickers" at AC Moore. I believe it had 3 sheets in it for $10.99. Which is more than I wanted to pay. Thanks to your post, I will print them on card stock, laminate (using self laminate sheets) and hang them on the window using double sided tape.
