How to enter:

Tell three friends about VMK — new Players only
When your friends register to play, make sure they enter your VMK Character name where it says 'Referred by' (see image below)
Once the three new Players have listed you, you'll be entered (one entry per Player)!



How to win:

Play VMK between 4pm and 6pm Pacific (7pm-9pm Eastern) every weekday from 11/28 to 12/23
We'll randomly choose a name from everyone who's entered in the Sweepstakes (see above for how to enter) and announce it to the whole VMK world!
If you're entered and in the game when your name's chosen, you win!
Many will enter. 20 will win.

actually dark (and everyone else). I wouldnt take a chance on using mules. Especially with all of the wording about verifying identities of new players in the fine print.

Oh, and this one caught my attention as well (under conditions section):

[9] Sponsor reserves the right to freeze or close a Member's account or to prohibit the participation of an individual/account holder if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any provision in the Rules


hmm, suspected, not proven? I think using mules in this case would be a bad bad idea lol.

And this is from the rules:

Random drawings will be conducted by Sponsor each business day between the hours of 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., as described in Paragraph 4, resulting in one (1) winner per day and twenty (20) total winners. You must be logged into the game at the time of the random drawings in order to be chosen as a potential winner.

Well, for those of us on the West Coast who have to work until 5:00pm, and then fight 30 - 40 minutes of traffic from hel...uh...heck, I hope the sponsor chooses to do the drawing between 5:45-6:00pm everyday.

But I kind of doubt that's going to be the case. Looks almost like they set it up so that mostly kids will win. And since it IS a kids game, I suppose that's OK.

Although I really would like an iPod.

Besides, there's always Santa.

I usually use family names and birthdays sometimes mixed around a bit when I make mules. For example, the one that was for child Alex used my nephew Alex's birthday and even looks like Alex.

I'm not going to make mules to try to win an ipod but some of my relatives would probably be willing to help out a Dis person.

This is a bit off topic but my experience with ipods was not very good. My daughter received one last Christmas, the one with the most storage space. Very expensive. She got mad at me and threw the ipod in her bedroom which cracked the screen. Apple wouldn't repair it because it would be cheaper to buy a new one. So my daughter is stuck with the ipod she broke. Now when I hear about ipods, I kind of want to throttle her or something. It's her fault she broke it so tough luck but I did read that ipods are a bit delicate and if there is any sort of a dent in the case, Apple will conclude the damage is caused by abuse of the ipod. Hopefully this year's models are more robust. Oh, my daughter's ipod still plays music but the screen is totally ruined. I'm not sure if she can load new songs on it though.

In the rules, it states that for every 3 players you get to sign up using you as a referral, you get a new entry.

"For every three (3) valid referrals (new friends that sign-up to play VMK) using your VMK Character name, you will gain one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. If you have six (6) valid referrals, you will gain two (2) entries in the Sweepstakes, and so on."

Its time for a leson ,lab. New England States are the ones up with Maine! She lives in Massacusets(please correct me if this is spelled wrong) So she is in the running! Lab needs to know here states more! So you are still in the running.

I think she was referring to me, the original poster. Neither of us (Real or myself) are eligible as we are outide of the US. I think the quote above her reply may have been an error though. Very easy to do when replying.

Well, I'm out of THIS contest. 7-9 pm EST...or whatever it was...either way I will be at WORK. funny how the week they do this, is the first week of work for me when I have been sitting on my butt all day jobless for the past 6 months....hmmph. Who needs a silly Ipod anyway!!!!! Grrrrr.

And by that I mean if you win one and don't want it, I'll take it!

Ok and don't laugh,but I am kinda out of the loop when it comes iPod-ish technology. How do you get the music into the thing? Does it connect to your computer? And can you only put songs you have to pay to download on it, or can you put songs you download from Kazaa or Limewire for free on there? Just curious, I may consider this for my Christmas list....but not if I gotta pay for the music!

I really really want an ipod!!!!!!!!!!! I bought an MP3 player a little while ago, and i paid about $70 for it. But it only holds about 50 songs!!! So whenever i wany a new song on it, i have to delete an old song! I don't listen to i too much now, because something went wrong on my computer and i can no longer transfer songs to my MP3 player. It was such a waste of money!!!

~plus, if i win this ipod, i can brag to my friends, which is a HUGE bonus!! LOL
