Wow, what a neat contest! I was alive then and probably went to DL with my family every year up until 1978. I doubt we took photos of the JC skippers, and my Dad mostly took slides, so it would be a huge undertaking to dig through all the photos and slides....hmm....

Curious to see if anyone finds one!

When John announced the contest at the D23 Expo he wryly noted that Pixar invented the photo manipulation process and would know it when they see it. In case anyone was thinking about trickery...

My mom searched her photos from the summer of 78, lots of pics but none of the Jungle cruise!!!

I was at the D23 Carsland session when this was announced. Listening to him & the other cm's talk about how Carsland was created was amazing.

me too..what a time!! I was in the Air Force in 77-78..I think those were the dates he said he worked there...and far away from DLR..darn!
