I don't think so, but I do remember scraping it off my teeth for a long time and the taste took for ever to go away. I don't even remember what I said but I'm sure I never said it again.

I'm embarassed to say, that I did once have my older son put a bar of soap in his mouth. He was about 9 at the time. (It was very brief..and I still feel terrible about it )


Funny thing is...I would NEVER do this to the younger two. They came along well after he did. He's 7 years older than his sister, and 11 years older than his brother. Luckily for the younger two...yet too late for the older guy..
I thought beter of it. I still feel guilty about it to this day. He also rather enjoys reminding me of it..especially around Christmas time!

Well, it turned out to be a misunderstanding. I thought he said one thing..and he actually said another.
He and his freinds were playing..Davy Crockett(we had video tapes of it back then)..and they were shooting .."Injuns"...and I asked him not to scream that out as their was an INDIAN(from India) boy across the street. Fearing that he and his family might missunderstand (especially with his fake gun pointing at them.. )

He thought I didn't want him saying "Injun"..so instead said "Indian"..and screamed for his friends to shoot the Indian kid across the street. He really had no idea, why that might not be the right thing to say..or how that could be misconstrued, given that they probably didn't have a clue as to who Davy freakin' Crocket was...
So much for being politically correct..it's been down hill ever since.

Reminds me of the time a dad was telling his daughter to aim for the scoreboard while she was up to bat during a softball game. There was a pic of an Indian on the scoreboard, so he yelled "hit the Indian". She turned around and said, "Shhh, she can hear you!" She thought he must have been talking about the darker skinned short stop on the opposing team.

Good Mornin back to ya....I don't care who wins...I'm floating on cloud 9 this AM....I'm leaving Tunica in 3 hours ...saw the mighty Mississippi one last time last night when I went to pick up my picture of Delbert McClinton and myself ...made right before his concert this past Sat. here at the Fitz....i look awful but I sure was happy! He is one of my fav singers and I got lucky to meet and hug him...and shake his hand in thanks....my extra special Christmas!!! And New Year has already started off with a bang...2 new jobs (one PRN) and a promise of more to come.....I can be at home and still have play money!Yippieeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Me and the mutt won't be gypsies by trade anymore...only by choice....thinking 2010 I'm going to do DCL Dover/Spain cruise!
