Ok, so I know that our trip was in September and it has been a long time but now I have got the steem to write this trip report for you all.

I was so depressed when I had to leave that I couldn't face the boards and read all the excitement of others getting ready for their trip. I know it is very selfish of me to be this way but I had no idea if I was ever going to be able to come back. That is until the passion of needing to come back to this magical place over whelmed me and I pleaded with my hubby and he finally agreed. So we have a tripped planned for January 2008 provided finances keep in our favor. The trip we want to take will be the most expensive vacation we have ever taken but 10 days in Disney is sooooooo worth it!

Now on to my report that started it all....

Day 1 September 24, 2006 & DH's Birthday!

After a long drive from Miami (we originally started our trip in Miami to catch a football game) 3 1/2 hours we made it. It was 8:30 in the evening and I see the Red lit up sign WALT DISNEY WORLD. We made it! But wait? WE can't find any sign leading us to the Wilderness Lodge. We drove around the world for over 15 minutes before we found where we had to go. What a maze! I learned that day that the Disney Transportation will be my best friend (or won't it?). We pull up to this magnificant lodge. DS (6) running in delight that we finally made it. I go to check in, it's 9:00pm and we have to be at Whispering Canyon for DH's birthday dinner and surprise. I walk in and took a deep breath. It is exactlty what I imagined. The enormous lobby with every attention to detail to make you feel like you walk into a log cabin in the deep woods. I Arrive at the front desk while DH parks the car and what do I hear? "Welcome Home" I almost cried. The CM was quick and speedy and I had enough time to rush over to WCC and make sure all the arrangements were in place for DH's birthday. DS play with the linkin log display while we wait to be seated. Dh finally arrives and we are ready to sit.

We are seated at our first dining experience ever in Disney. The food was great but hubby didn't deal well with the obnoxious theme. DS didn't seem to care for it either. I guess it was not their cup of tea! Anyways when the food arrived of course DS needed some Ketchup and I know many of you know what happens when you ask for it!

th_FloridaVacation2006158-1.jpg

Who Wants Ketchup?

This is DH arranging all the Ketchup on the table. Soon after that another table needed some so DS and I quickly got up and piled our arms (not before I drop one and it splatters to the floor) with Ketchup to make the special delivery. We finish eating and all of a sudden here comes the Disney Birthday cake and the loudest singing you could possible imagine. Happy Birthday DH!

DS and DH celebrating.

I present DH with his gift. A Riched Petty Driving Expiernce to happen the very next morning! The cake was delicious but by know it is 10:30pm and we are whipped and still haven't seen our room.

We get to our room and all the energy rushs back into us. We were on the ground floor looking over the pool. It was a great location! Only a minute walk out our sliding glass door and over the courtyard/pool to get to the RF and a 3 minute walk to the buses. Couldn't have expected any better.

OK, I have time to throw day 2 at you.

It all begins at 6:30am in the morning when DH has to be up for his Richard Petty Driving Experience. He had to be at the track at 7am, so he took the car and I told him we would meet him over there via Disnay transportation at 9am.

DS slept through all of that talking and planning and I finally had to drag him out of bed at 8am. We skipped breakfast (it takes him a good hour to feel like eating anyway) and started our journey over to the track.

I have to say the WL buses were great! Not much to complain about. This is our very first vacation to Disney World so we didn't have high expections. I knew I needed to take a bus the the TTC and then get a conecting bus to RPDE. The key to it all is stop and ask for directions or help before you get too flustered with trying to go it alone. So, when we got to the TTC I immediatley went to a CM to find out where to find our next bus. Low and behold it's a van parked on the other side of the hedges. I would have never figured that out without asking.

We get to the track and DH looks all handsom in his jump suite looking like Dale Earnhart Jr. (plus a few more pounds  ) He is soooo nervouse. I don't think I ever seen him like this except right just before he proposed to me. He decided to do a ride along before he actually drives the car. So, he got 8 laps in the Home Depot Car and 8 Laps in the Kelloggs car driving this one. He timed in at 112 mph. He wished he could go faster but they only alow to get up to a certain point. I have to say that this was the present of a lifetime that he will never forget.

th_FloridaVacation2006174.jpg

DH getting into his car.

After the driving we took our car back to the resort for some lunch and a rest before we head off to MGM. We ate at RF and I have to say this place is way too small to accomodate the feeding needs of WL guest. The selection was minimal as well. We realized this after our experiences at other QS Dining places.

After lunch we went back to our room for a much needed nap. We didn't have to be at MGM until 4:45 for our ADR at Sci-FI. We tried to rest but the excitement of not being in a park was really wearing on us. So we left for the buses at 2:15pm.

Our first bus bad bus experiences begins now. If you are new to WL please PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE YOUR BUS IS HEADING! We looked at the stops and the sign read MGM for lane 4. We waited and a bus arrived and we jumped on. As we are riding we see TOT and start getting anxious. Our first stop DTD, our second stop DTD , our third stop Blizzard Beach? No MGM in sight. We talked to the driver and he told us that this bus didn't go there. So he told us that is would be our best bet to jump on a bus to POP and catch MGM from there.

So, we waited forever for a bus to POP. When we arrived we couldn't believe to vastness of this resort compared to our little WL. Just the queue to wait for a bus made our head spin. We found the line for MGM and waited. I forgot to tell you that it was extremely humid that day and we were tired. So, we started to get a little bit irratable with each other. Every bus that came around that corner we impatiently read the rider hoping for MGM to run across. After a 15 minute wait finally it was here. Just for air conditioning if for nothing else.

Now, we are making our way to MGM and we figured out where we went wong in our busing adventure. The signs at WL are split, meaning it is a lane for two different shuttles. Lane 4 reads MGM then a line then DTD. We learned real quick to read those riders before getting onto a bus.

Yepee, we made it and just in time for the parade. Oh good, a spot in the shade.

th_FloridaVacation2006184.jpg

DS giving Dale a high five.

The parade ending in time for us to make our way over to SCI-FI for dinner. I was welcoming that to cool off. I thought this returant was a neat concept and we needed right at this time. Something quite, cool, and kept DS distracted. Food was good but we didn't have much of an apetite the only thing DH did not like was there wasn't enough lighting for him to see his food. He has a thing needing to see what he is eating. By now the heat and the exhaustion carring over from yesterday are wearing us thin.

After Dinner we made our way over to see the Light, Camera, Action show. Great show we love it. I was able to get a neat pic of TOT while waiting for it to start.

th_FloridaVacation2006189.jpg

When we were done with that we did some other attractions until it was time to get in line for Fantasmic. I have to say I almost did the dining with priority seating but I didn't to wast the food on the DDP so I thought we would take our chances and we were not disappointed. We got there and the stadium was already half full. All the center seats were pretty much gone with the sides left. The trick is to look for them. Some people will sit with there feet in the bleacher infront of them, giving the appearence that they are full. We walked right down the center and found seating for all 3 of us. IMO there really isn't a bad seat in the place and dining just to get a good seat is not necessary. This show was so magical for me and brought back a lot of childhood memories. Especially the end is where is brought tears to my eyes. I was so happy to be here!

MGM had evening magic hours that night and we took advantage. When we got out of the show we headed right over to TOT. DS was in a panic. He knew what the ride was about and even though he broke through of his fear of roller coasters this past summer he might have not been ready for this. We begged him to let us ride together as a family. He allowed this but not without hesitation and pale nervouse face. We get on the ride and don't know what to expect. We thought we go up and drop down once. Ohhhhh, nooooo you don't. Disney has all this drama leading up to it. As you go up in the elevator you stop on various floors and listened to the plot thicken. Sometimes in pitch black. DS is digging into my arm at this time. To tell you the truth, I was a bit nerve racked myself. Then You get to the top and the doors open and you think you are going to drop and the car moves forward onto that floor, 13th is what I thought. Another plot thickening moment. Then you think you are going to drop and noooooo, you get thown up, stop, doors in front of you open you see the entire park and fall. And do you think that was enough, of course not, they go through a few series of that. I screamed my flippen head off, every man for himself! Totally forgot about DS, probably dying of a siezure brought on by fear. I have to say DS made it through and although he was scared out of his wits he felt pretty beside himself that a 6 year old rode without any tears! I have to say that is the scariest ride in the entire 4 parks. There is something about that sense of falling that just makes you want to jump out of your skin.

After that we tried to get on RR but the wait was too long. We figured we could catch that later in the week. We really needed to sleep and went back to our hotel and what did we find?

Our first set of towel animals! How cute they were! Ahhhhh, ready to crash.

Day 3

Sleeping In
Epcot

Sounds like you have a great start to your vacation. Can't wait to read more. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Sounds like you have a great start to your vacation. Can't wait to read more. Thanks for taking the time to post.

We dedicate this day to all of you who run ragged tirelessly while on a Walt Disney World Vacation in search of the magic!

Ok, we said we need to sleep in this day to recover the from our exhaustion. Our room phone rings at 8am waking me and DH. DS didn't hear a thing. Who was it? Just MIL checking in on us. DH mumbles were sleeping call back later and hangs up. Believe it or not we both slipped back into our comas. What finally wakes us up for the day, another call from MIL at 11am. WHAT? 11am? Half of the day is gone! I haven't slepted in that late since I was a teen partying all night! Look what Disney did to us!

Well we get up and start moving about our day. We start by taking the boat to Fort Wilderness to check out their petting zoo. I have to say there wasn't mush excitement there. Just a few animals and the place look deserted.
th_FloridaVacation2006206.jpg

DS and DH checking out some animals.

We got back on the boat and jumped off at contemporary. We were so hungry we stopped there to eat at there QS resturant. I can't remember the name. The selection was a little better than WL, but still small to accomadate all those guests. DH said it was his best QS dining experience of the trip. After that we hopped on the monorail, in the captains seat, over to Epcot. By this time it started rain and it was refreshing from the humidity.
th_FloridaVacation2006210.jpg

DS in his Captains seat!

Here we were, Epcot! We started off on the Spaceship Earth. Quite and unusual ride. DH snickered comments all the way through. He thought is was funny to pic on the maniquins. What floats his boat! We did get a few chuckles out of it. Then we jumped on fast track. Loved it. Let's see then DH took DS on Mission space, the nice version. I read to many horror stories and couldn't ride it. I get sever motion sickness and it will ruin the whole day if it sets on. Then we checked out some other attractions. I can't remember the ride but the one about energy and Ellen Degenerous was absolutely the worse for us. It just didn't entertain us in anyway. On a good note we did learn alot about energy in the 45 minutes we spent there.

Time for dinner at Coral Reef! I came accustom to noisy dining at Disney. We had only two dining experiences through out our trip where we didn't have to yell across the table to have a conversation. It didn't ruin our trip. It is to be expected. Coral Reef is great! We got a table right on the water. I thought this would be wonderful until a few times through out our dining there were families would come up and stand in front of our table and take pics. That was kind of annoying. But all in all it was fun. By this time the Disney food started to taste the same to me. Where ever I went.

After Dinner we checked out Crushes Turtle Talk. Crush got to pick on DS!
th_FloridaVacation2006214.jpg

Me and DS.

It started to get late and dark and I realized I didn't get a chance to do the world yet! So about a half hour before Illuminations started I forced DS and DH to walk it with me because I knew I wasn't coming back. WoW what a 1/2 hour brisk walk do for you. We only got to see a glimps of Illuminations. We started to head back with the crowd rush. Jumped on a bus and headed back to the hotel.
th_FloridaVacation2006224.jpg

When we got back to the hotel we found more towel animals!
th_FloridaVacation2006202.jpg

We still didn't try out the pool so we got in our swim suites and took a late night swim and hot tub dip. The night winded down and we slipped into bed to end another day. I felt this day was a wash because I missed so much at Epcot. This is when I got the feeling that I knew I was coming back again some day.

DAY 4
Animal Kingdom
Our Brush with no transportation

Jen

Here we are waking up at a reasonable time on Wednesday morning to make it to the opening of AK. Was today going to be the day that I didn't feel cheated on time? I wanted so much to have time to take it all in and look at everything. Not only to rush through it to get to the next attraction.

We took our car to AK today because we had lunch plans to eat outside of DW. I have to say it took about the same amount of time to park and walk to AK as it would if we took the buses. After that I am pro bus transportation. A little less stressful!

When we get through the gates we start walking briskly to EE. I wanted to get it out of the way. Because this was another ride DS was leary of. If we got it done early then there wouldn't be any anxiety during the day. We get in line and start explaining to DS the legend of the Yeti and different names he has. The only thing I was causious about was the part of the ride that goes backwards. I get motion sickness real bad but I thought it was for a brief moment so maybe I could handle it. We only had a 5 minute wait and before you know it we are getting into our train cars. We were at the back of the train and here we go! Everything is quite mild and DS is doing well. Until will get to the part where the tracks look as if they ended. He starts to panic. I start to panic, because I know we are going backwards!:sad1: There it is, twisting backwards and up a hill to a stop, in a cave might I add! Well, that wasn't so bad? DS agreed until it released forward real fast and before you know it YIKES this big Yeti from know where on DS's side! Oh, yes a few more turns and we made it. DS's reaction? "Can we go again?" This was his favorite ride of the whole vacation.

After that we headed off to view some animals and did Kilimanjaro Safaris. We skipped the water raft ride because the humidty finally broke and the weather was very comfortable. I had no intention of getting drenched early in the day and dealing with wet clothes.

DS and DH checking skull bones.

At around 12pm we had cover alot of the park. So, I was feeling pretty satisfied. I knew we were coming back after our luch to take advantage of the magic hours at AK that evening.

So, we headed out and did our afternoon lunch. Got back to the hotel and had a quick swim. I tried to sneak in a load of laundry but none of that was happening. I walk in to the laundry room and there was a line. I think there is only 6 washers and 10 dryers to accomadate the whole resort! I was a bit dissapointed in that.

Time to head for the buses to go back to AK. When we got there they were just starting evening hours and we went over to Dinoland to ride Dinasour. Then we did the rest of the smaller rides in that area and headed off to do EE again as DS requested. This time we got front row! All right. This is what I thought. Sitting in the front row is way different and the effect of the coast going backwards set my motion sickness into high gear! Augh! Yuk my stomach was churning when I got off that ride. Good thing we were going to sit down for a while at a Bugs Life. After the show my stomach was setteling down and I was feeling a bit better. It was 7:30 and started to make our way back to the hotel. Were we going to finally have an early night? Of course not!

When we got to the buses we were feeling hungry. This is the only day I did not have an ADR because we ate out at lunch and I thought I would take my chances and use it for a breakfast the morning we leave. I fugured we were going to have QS for dinner tonight. Here we are standing at the buses and start talking about where we want to eat. I said, "Well, I wanted really check out boardwalk while we were here. Why don't we go over there and something quick?"

That's how it all began. The near hit of not having any transportation at all to get back to our hotel!

Quick we hoped on a bus to Boardwalk. We get there an we are so out of our element. The hotel is very nice and posh. We scoot through the lobby and make our way to the actual boardwalk looking for a QS eatery. We came upon the ESPN club. Was there going to be any chance of us getting a table with no ADR? Sure thing! It was 8pm and we are now seated ordering dinner. I thought this would a better experience not being a Disney restuarant. I was wrong. The ambiance was cool but the food was so, so. I couldn't believe at this time I was starting to be picky about my food at Disny. How crazy is that! This is when I took some time and looked at the AK map to see if I had missed anything that day. There you go, you missed a whole section of the park! Crap! I started to think I got it all in and the map tells me otherwise. I knew we were not going to have any time on the trip to go back and check it out.

It's now 9:30 and I thought it would be nice to catch a water shuttle to MGM and then a bus back to our hotel. So, we wait in line the boat arrives and we find out there are no more boat shuttles going to MGM because the park had closed!!! WHAT! So, we quick run over to a CM and they said our best bet would be to run through Epcot and get a bus from there. You're kidding me right? Illuminations had ended everyone was filing out of the park and now we have to run from the top of the World to the Epcot gates so we don't miss a chance on getting a bus!

Here we go on a brisk walk again. No need to dive this time a lot of the crowd had already filtered out. 15 minutes later we were reaching the front and holy crap! The lines for the buses. Of course we have to wait another 15 minutes and our bus finally comes but there was a handicap guest and they get on first. We wait while the ramp lowers the guest gets on and straps in and driver tries to pick the ramp back up. Does it move? NO! So, after struggling with the ramp and a call for another bus 20 minutes later it arrives and we are on it.

It's about time! And we are on or way back to WL. What we though would be an early night turned into a 11pm bedtime for DS. This was the day we started our ritual of sitting on the patio while DS tries to go to sleep and mull over the days events and tomorrows happenings.

DH and I are sitting and talking enjoying our evening wind down and we look across the court yard on the 4th floor there is a man completely naked standing in his well lit room with no drapes closed! Dh and I were shocked and started to laugh. Then a woman walk walked pass half naked as well!!!

Believe it or not we thought it was halarious. Remeber, to keep those curtians closed when changing. You never know who will be watching!

Off to bed for to get ready for another full day!

Day 5

Doing Laundry
Boat Shuttle
MK
Getting Stuck on Splash Mountain

Jen

Yes, it's here! Today is finally here. This was the day I have been waiting for. The wait was worth it for MK!!!:cool1:

I was was up early in hopes to sneak a load of laundry in while we were at MK for the morning. Sure enough, 6:30am there was no one to be found. The laundry room was empty! Once I got the wash started I stopped over at RF and grabbed some quick breakfast and went back to the room to wake the troops. They were up and ready to go by 7:30. What a great start to the day. We quickly hopped on the boat to MK. What a beautiful day!

The Castle!

When we got there we were able to ride winnie the pooh, these rides were up and running. We then stood waiting for the rope to drop to the rest the of the Kingdom. I couldn't believe how many people were already here. I guess I am not the only one to have the same idea. Once the rope dropped we jumped on HM. First ones on believe or not! Then we ran over to TMRR. Gosh that ride can really rattle your brains.

Everyting was going to well, we were getting all the main attractions out of the way and all before 11am. That was until we arrived on SM. We jumped on the this ride just as quickly as the others, no wait. The ride is going fine and we come down the big hill, get all wet and turn around the bend and get lodged in the river with some other logs. All of a sudden it starts a chain reaction and log after log starts to pile up. We sat there in our logs waiting for 20 minutes while CM's try to un-lodge the logs in front of us. Then they started to remove people from their logs and stand on the the ledge by the river. By now 30 minutes have gone by. They couldn't get it un stuck. So, everyone got out of thier logs and went behind the scenes of the ride to go through a back exit. They gave us all a fast pass. The waiting was a pain, but I felt considering the circumstances the CM's did a great job! As we walked out the exit we walked past the big drop on SM and saw a log on the very top with people still trapped in it. I am glad that wasn't us!

th_FloridaVacation2006020.jpg

CM's trying to unlodge the logs while we wait in the logs.

th_FloridaVacation2006021.jpg

Everyone getting out of the logs and heading behind the scenes.

By now it is 10:30 and we stop at bear country Jamboree. DS really liked this show. I was surprised. It doesn't seem to be his style. Then we hopped over to POTC. Loved the changs. DS wasn't allowed to see the movie but when we got home I allowed him to see it and now he has a new excitement for the ride. When got off the ride Captian Jack Sparrow was right there. DS got really excited to see a real pirate. He became and honorary pirate!

th_FloridaVacation2006027.jpg

Captain Jack!

We were starting to feel hungy, so I went and got fast passes for the jungle cruise and we went to get a bit to eat. When we finished we were getting hot and tired and it was past twelve. So, we decided to go back to WL and rest. We were going to be back later that evening to do the rest of the park.

At the hotel I finished up my laundry, took DS for a swim and we actually got a nap. It was very refreshing and I felt this is how it is supposed to be! It took me 4 days to finally get it right.

When we got up we headed back to MK for Dinner at Tony's. I wasn't very impressed. There was no seasoning and the food tasted bland. When we were done with lunch we spent the rest of the evening in Tomorrow Land. We did eveything including ride space mountain 3x in a row. By this time the park was getting ready to close and people were piling up for the fire works. We decided we should head back and I got a little sad. The day went to fast and I still didn't get to do or see eveything I wanted in MK.

As we exited we saw the line to the boat was monsterous so we wen to catch the bus to WL. We can't find the bus stop? We stop a CM and they said there is no bus to WL only boat. WHAT! We never realized. What a line we were going to have to wait in. We really didn't have a choice. We could have taken something connecting but by the time we did that we probably would have spent the same amount of time.

We did catch our boat and was able to see the fire works while on the water. It was really pretty. I guess it timed out right for us. When we got back to WL we founds some seats on the beach to watch the electrical water pageant. DS enjoyed playing in the sand. The sand felt so good on your feet.

th_FloridaVacation2006046.jpg

DS trying to build a sand castle.

When the pageant was done we headed back to the room where we put DS to bed and sat out on the patio for our evening wind down. Going over the days events and tommorrows agends. Knowing that tomorrow was our last full day in the world. :sad2: And of course our 4th floor flashers were bare naked again! Just another laugh for the evening.

Day 6

Back to MGM
AK
DTD

Jen

Today is day six, and although I have an early onset of depression it is bitter sweet. Tomorrow I have to leave the magic of it all, yet I will be able to go home and recover from exhaustion.

We are up early once again to go back to MGM. We promised DS we would come back so he can ride RR. So, thats what we do! First ride we run too. The whole family was in agreement what an awesome ride! The adreneline was pumping after that ride. After that we tried to convince DS to go on TOT again, but that wasn't happening. So, we stopped and got a light breakfast and headed over to the backlot tour. The whole bomb in the water effect was broken and we were not able to get the whole impact of the this attraction. We did enjoy seeing the behind the sences for the wordrobe and movie props. Then is was on the Indian Jones. Opening was pretty cool along with the ending. The show also had some comical scenes as well.

th_FloridaVacation2006048-1.jpg

By now it was lunch time and we really needed to get going so we could accomplish some other things before we left tomorrow. We wanted to go somewhere different for lunch and decided to take the bus to AKL.

th_FloridaVacation2006097.jpg

On the bus over to AKL.

Wow, we were impressed! We walked into the lobby and it was nothing we had ever seen. We made our way down to Mara and IMO this place was more adequate to accomodate the needs of the guest and I was pleased with my luch as well. When we were done with lunch we started to walk out be the pool to see if we could see some animals and realized it was getting real hot and late and we needed to spend time at our own hotel. I had to start packing for and early morning tomorrow and we were going to be out late tonight at DTD.

By this time we pretty much mastered the transportation system and quickly got a connecting bus at AK. When we got bake to the hotel I started to organize clothing and pack suitcases. We all decided to go for one more dip in the pool and relax for a while.

Time to head off to dinner at DTD. At last we were here, this was my shopping day. I was going to buy anything my heart desired because I refrained the whole week. It was Friday night and it was really busy. We ate at Planet Hollywood. Although the hosts seemed a little rude our waiter was real cool. The place was packed! I understand this place gets a bad wrap but the dinner I had was the most satisfying all week. DH and DS thought this as well. When dinner was done it was time to shop. We of course went to the lego store so DS could get something.

th_FloridaVacation2006107.jpg

DS with the lego dogs.

We hit a lot of stores but I didn't get anything until I went to the Disney memories. This was our first ever Disney vacation. DH and I never vacationed here as children and I wanted to get some things so I could always remember it. I ended up picking up arealy nice collage frame and a photo album for my 300 pics I took.

When shopping was done we went back to the buses but not before getting a pic in the Disney Christmas Scene.

th_FloridaVacation2006122.jpg

Then we got on the buses and headed back to our hotel. DS got one last dip in the pool and us in the hot tub. He snuggled into into bed and we settled down for our evening wind down ritual out on the patio, only tonight our 4th floor nudest were smart and closed their curtains.

We discussed the events of the entire week and the possibility of coming back because we enjoyed ourselves so much but we were not able to do it all. Next years vacation was already planned to conincide with business trip to Las Vegas and San Diego. We really didn't know when we could come back and I started to get more depressed.

Day 7

Checking Out

The Good, The Bad, and The Do Over!

Jen

Day 7 arrived way to quick! We got to bed so late we all had blood shot eyes when is was time to get up to go to the airport.

Had a hard time getting DS out of bed!

Never the less we forged on, but there was not time for sadness to set in. I really needed to get back home to recover from this trip. It was pretty un-inventful checking out and taking our car to the airport. DS stayed awake long enough to put clothes on and get in the car.

Poor kid I thought. I hoped he got to enjoy the things he wanted. It always seemed we never had enough time. 5 full days in WDW and we couldn't do it all. That's all I kept thinking about. I didn't do it all:sad1:

We get to the airport board our plane and made it home with no complaints. If you have noticed that this trip report started out exciting and energized and turned out depressing and sad. This is what Disney did to us. It gave the most magical memories of our lives and wanting for more.

When we got home we talked about our adventure to our families and then the novelty wore off. Yet, the need to return plagued my brain everyday. I was becoming a Disney junkie! What is wrong with me. I never felt this way about a place! My nuerotic thoughts got the best of and I kept bugging DH to go back. He finally agreed but we already had a trip planned for next year and it would be financially taxing to take two big vacations in one year.

Once DH said we sould go back I started running numbers to find out when is the soonest we could return. Are Vegas/San Diego Trip is pretty much paid for. So, I didn't have to worry about that! Bingo!!!!! The numbers worked out for January 2008. If I put away $150 every week for the next year not only will I have enough money for us to return, but give us spending money as well. We can certianly swing that! It will be the trip of a lifetime 10 Days in WDW, staying at the AKL savannah view, with the dining plan. This will be my chance to get it right and do it all! All we are waiting for is for Disney to launch their 2008 package prices and we are ready to book.

The Best advice I can give you future travlers is to take 1/2 hour in each park and sit on a Bench and take it all in!

The Good:)
  • WL-Wonderful Hotel with lots to look at and a great pool
  • Transprotation at the WL once you firure it out.
  • The boat shuttle
  • TOT,RR,EE,SM-Our favorite rides of the trip
  • Mara
  • DDP-Well worth it if you have to pay for it.
  • Having a rental car and freedom if we wanted it
  • Having a patio to sit at night
    • Memories of a Lifetime!

    The Bad:mad:
    • Laundry Facilities at WL
    • RF
    • Tony's Town Square
    • Only Transportation to MK from WL is by boat
    • Not enough time to do it all and sleep

The Do Over:confused:
  • Must come back and fo everything again. MK, AK,Epcot
  • Shopping at DTD when it not so busy and durning the day
  • Must see the world during the day
  • TOT,RR,EE,and SM
  • Would do WL again but we want to try AKL

Once last note....

I want to thank all of the readers that have taken the time to read this report. They take a long to put together and although mine isn't as well written or entertaining as others it means a lot when people want to know how my trip went.

I also want everyone to know that without god giving me the finances or prosperous life that I have I would have never been able to experience this wonderful vacation. I know there are many people who will never experience what we did in their lifetime and to be given this opportunity and possibley a trip next year is humbling to me.

Thank you God.

Jen
