It says the parks will not be open in the morning. I have heard that they will open in the afternoon on Monday.
MK and Epcot should reopen Monday Afternoon. DS and AK will remain closed the entire day.

I heard that all the parks are now closed tomorrow. I would venture a guess that if it clears before that they will try and reopen the park.

As I said. They are going to try and reopen MK and Epcot in the afternoon. However DS and AK will remain closed the entire day.

I am sitting here at Port Orleans Riverside and just got a knock on the door. A CM handed me a notice saying that Epcot and Magic Kingdom are hopefully going to operate tomorrow, with "adjusted hours" once the storm as passed. MGM and Animal Kingdom are closed Monday. Also Downtown Disney will open at some point after the storm.

I tried to go to MNSSHP tonight, and it was a wash-out with lightning and rain. I went there on the bus around 7:30 and then turned around and came right back!

Well, at least I can DIS while waiting out the storm! :teeth:

Florida-Based Disney Destinations Hurricane Update

Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005

Walt Disney World Resort

Due to the potential of tropical storm force winds associated with Hurricane Wilma, all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, the Downtown Disney area and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex will not open tomorrow morning, Monday, Oct. 24, 2005.

Weather permitting, the Walt Disney World Resort may reopen one or more Theme Parks after the storm passes on Monday to entertain the tens of thousands of Guests currently staying in our resort hotels.

We have made this decision with an abundance of caution based on information from the National Weather Service, the National Hurricane Center and local emergency preparedness officials, all of whom currently expect the storm to pass more than 100 miles south of the resort.

All resort hotels will remain open, though Guests staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have been relocated to other hotels on property.

The Walt Disney World Resort has an extensive hurricane preparedness plan and is prepared for a realm of possible impacts that this type of weather could have on our property.

As a reminder, a temporary cancellation and "No Show" policy has been adopted for Travel Agents who have booked reservations through Walt Disney World or the Walt Disney Travel Company.

"No Show" penalties will be waived for any Guest arrivals between Friday, Oct. 21, and Monday, Oct. 24, 2005.

That goes with all the closings of schools, etc. No tolls either. Great.

People need to realize that even if we don't have the hurricane passing directly over us, we still face tornadoes, plus the weather has been nasty.

Orlando Airport is still up and running - no cancellations as of 10:46PM.

Epcot will open after the storm passes to DISNEY RESORT GUESTS ONLY.

Fantamsic was stormed out at 7:20 tonight

Anyone considering Epcot tomorrow?

We're probably throwing in the towel on tomorrow, but perhaps I would want to hit the headliners in Future World?

Cari, where did you get this news that only Resort guests. As an AP holder, if I show up, I hope they don't plan on not letting me in.

We (Main Street Fan) and myself are planning on hitting the MK tomorrow as soon as it opens back up! It was a very soggy MNSSHP tonight!
