William Shatner Roast

I love William Shatner and Boston Legal. Where was this roast? What network? Think it will be repeated?

Comedy Central and I'm sure it will be repeated. They showed it three times in a row last night.
There were many many funny funny jokes, but overall just a little too ribald for my taste. And why pick on George Takei quite so much??! At one point, it was more like everyone was roasting him instead of Shatner.

I thought all the video clips of Shatner singing were absolutely freakin' hysterical! The man has got to have a sense of humor about himself because he has done some stuff that has just been so-o-o-o bad!

I watched this yesterday and missed the first 10 minutes and there was something that bothered me the whole time. Why exactly was Farrah Fawcett there? Has she ever worked with Shatner? Anyone have a clue?

I was wondering the same thing about Betty White. Some of the roast was pretty funny, mostly the parts where William Shatner poked fun at himself.

Just wanted to chime in and say, how freakin hilarous the roast was last night. I was just talking to my friend about it. I saved it on my DVR so my husband can watch it when he gets home in November (he is gone with the Coast Guard right now). We are big Star Trek fans and I just loved it. Comedy Central will often rerun things a million times, so I'm sure you have a good chance of getting to see it. Also you can go to www.comedycentral.com and you can watch clips from the roast and also watch some clips from the red carpet and after party. One of my favorite parts was Betty White roasting Shatner. She is really funny and at the same time I was shocked by some of the things she said -but thought it was absolutely great. She plays up the whole "sweet old lady" and then says some outrageous stuff. Any of these roast on Comedy Central should NEVER be watched by children. If I had it my way, no one under the age of 20 could watch - I will seriously consider buying the uncensored DVD version when it comes out.

How funny/strange/awkward/scary were the clips of Shatner singing??? He must have wanted to crawl under that Enterprise chair when they showed those clips!!
