Will You Chill Out if I Sprinkle You With Pixie Dust? The End p136 *New TR Link* p138

I love the pictures of POTC! :cool1:

Ugh, that rain sounds awful, but I don't think I've ever felt unsafe at Disney World when there is lightning...I mean, I suppose it's possible to get struck by lightning there, but I feel like it's pretty unlikely! :confused3

I had no idea the meltdown would be your brother, I figured it would be one of the kids! :rotfl:

Glad they got to the ferry and back to the treehouse, but that's annoying that he didn't speak to you for the rest of the night. I hope the rest of the trip improved from then on! :goodvibes

Wow. That was the brother of all meltdowns. LOL! I hope the he gets filled with more pixie dust as time goes on.

Can't wait to read more!!

Oh man, I had hoped that the problems with your brother wouldn't start so early in the trip. Girl, you dodged a bullet when they were able to take the ferry and didn't get on the bus. I was wondering how you were going to handle that little mixup.

I TOTALLY dodged a bullet with that transportation snafu! You are SO right on that count! :rotfl: It really could have been a disaster.

Okay I have a bit of catching up to do...

You did a great job catching up!

Love the pic of the castle and the MK view.

Great group shot and love CHH! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I love that view coming in on the ferry and I am quite pleased with the group shot.

The lobster roll actually sounds quite yummy but it does look like there's a lot of mayo piled onto the sandwich.

It was quite heavy on the mayo but it actually tasted pretty good. I enjoyed it.

Haha IASW...how that song can quickly get stuck in your head and not leave for ages!! :lmao:

Tell me about it. I think it might be stuck there again right now. :rotfl:

Oh no on a storm brewing...:(

Those skies were so dark that there was no question a real storm was coming in!

Yay on getting the hologram on POTC and all the other great pictures!

I was very excited for the hologram. I love that part of the ride. I'm really glad a lot of the pics turned out.

Oh no on the meltdown but am glad your brother and his family got to their car and you all made it back safely.

The meltdown was not fun, but I was so relieved that they were able to catch the ferry and get back to their car with out any problems.

I used to say I'd love to get my family on a cruise... but they would be going on the Wonder and I'd be on the Magic!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao: LOL Good one! I laughed out loud when I read this! If we ever do a family cruise I might have to suggest this!

Oh I definitely remember, but I wasn't expecting him get mad at things that are totally out of anyone's control but God's. People that get mad at the weather confuse me to no end, even if they are tired. I'll try not to be too hard on him though.

I think he got made when he saw the monorail line. The rain unnerved him, but the overwhelming line did him in. In his defense, I am sure he was exhausted so I feel a little bad for getting upset with him. But he looked at me with such disdain that evening and it was that which upset me.

I'm so glad his mood improved. I'll be very curious how he feels about Disney now that he's been there. No worries, I will wait patiently until the end of the TR to find out.

Let's just say that this pixiedust: did the trick! ;)

Oh boy...that's certainly a meltdown story. :scared: The worst part about it, in my opinion, was that split second when you realized the car situation and also figured out that it was out of your hands. It's like watching something bad that's about to happen and being unable to stop it. :worried:

Thank the Lord for the ferry, though! Was relieved to see that you didn't have to stress about the car for very long.

I was so worried about his mood that I didn't even think it through. I totally forgot about the car in the parking lot. Normally I would never overlook such an important detail. I just got so flustered.

Thanks goodness for the ferry. We lucked out all the way around. pixiedust:

Love your Pirate pictures! Brought me right back to the ride and reminded me how much I love it. :goodvibes

So glad you like the pic and they gave you that ride "deja vu"!

I can understand your boredom in the gift shop. You can only look at those plastic swords and Jack Sparrow caps for so long!

:rotfl: Tell me about it! :rotfl:

I hope you and your brother were able to make up and enjoy the holiday together. Momma and I always have rows from time to time on holidays but usually a few hours later we've forgotten it and can enjoy the time together.

We definitely got a long a lot better later in the trip, but we did have one more meltdown. Fortunately, for the most part things remained calm. And - the best part - a happy ending! :thumbsup2

Loved your shots of POTC! My DH remarked that Johnny Depp must have been surprised his contract made him sit in the ride!:rotfl They did cange some of the auction spiel to be politically correct. No more commenting on beauty when selling women!:confused3

Yeah - not quite sure how Johnny Depp feels about that, but his character made such a nice addition to the ride. He really is so easy on the eyes. :thumbsup2 I heard they changed the script, but I really have never noticed.

Your brother must have really been tired especially after riding the train to blow up over something you couldn't control. He also went into it with a negative attitude, but things like that usually change for the better.

You're so right Doris. I think the first night was the worst for him and things did get better after that. I know I get cranking too when I haven't had enough sleep.

My BFF hates WDW, but felt she should take her children. Kids deserve at least one shot at Disney.pixiedust:

They sure do! It really is a magical place for kids and I think that pixie dust gets right in there and settles in their little brains!

Can't wait to read more

:welcome: Lalabubbles! Thanks for joining in and there will be more to come!

Isn't it funny that even as adults we can make our siblings crazy (or in this case, have them make us crazy!!). I love my sister but we are soooo.... different - I am the ultimate optimist and she is a total pessimist and sometimes (ok, a lot of the time) she makes me want to scream when we're together! :rotfl:

:lmao: I think my brother and I both are pessimistic, but sometimes he seems so much worse than me. :rotfl: Can't imagine being an optimistic and dealing with a pessimist everyday. ugh!

Fantastic pictures!!!! Great update. It was too bad your brother had a rough day. Sounds like the rest of the trip picked up from here.

Glad you like the pics! And you're right, my brother did have a bad day, or rather his 24 plus hours of travel did him in. Things did improve from that evening and there was no more rain, which definitely helped.

Can't wait to hear more!

More is on the way! :)

I'm reading along... I'm so glad to read a report of someone who stayed at the treehouses... I've always wanted to see what they looked like!
Thanks!

:welcome: Self resqing princz! Thanks for joining in! The treehouses were great. They are such a unique place to stay and I'm so happy I got the chance!

Hope you got that run in. I need to get out int he AM. I think this crazy heat finally broke so tomorow moring should be good weather wise, run wise... not so sure. :lmao:

I did and it was SO great to go out last night. After nights of running in the thick humidity, last night felt like a breeze! Loved it.

Yay! We made it into a park!CHH is one place I have yet to eat, and I'm not sure I ever will haha! There's just so many good choices in MK!

I was so happy to get into the park that evening. You gotta like seafood to try CHH, but if you do its really a good choice because its never crowded.

Gotta love the texting on the caroseul pic! Hahha, good one!!

Kids, right? I have more pictures of him texting then doing anything else. :rotfl:

Based on what you've shared I'm sure it was really overwhelming for him and he may even have "wanted" it to go badly, to prove he was right about it not being something he'd enjoy. People are funny that way and given how he fought it I'd imagine he was a bit of a powder keg at the beginning and one little thing can really tip anyone over the edge.

You may be right on with that thought. I figured once he agreed to go he would go with an open mind. But it is very possible he was looking for things to annoy him and he didn't have to look far the first night.

I love pixie dust and what it can do

The pixie dust really ended up working its magic, that's all I can say!

Can I just ask why do people care about new shoes getting wet? I've bought new shoes and worn them in the snow the very next day. I don't really care if they are new as I figure I'm going to be wearing them in the rain or in the snow at some point why not break them in right now.

All shoes will eventually get wet and dirty so I agree that its crazy to try to avoid it. The only shoes I try to keep clean and dry are my running shoes. I hate to see them getting dirty. All others are fair game.

Also sometimes people seem to just get in the way when it rains at WDW, on my last trip to WDW in 2009 it was raining one day and I wanted to head to the gorilla trail after getting off the safri, and I had to fight my way through people sating in the entrence way wearing ponchos and holding umbrellas undercover, I just don't get it why take shelter if you have a poncho on?

It sort of reminds me of how people seek cover when its raining at the pool or the beach. Really? Unless its raining really hard, just go jump in the water. People start running for cover at the first few drops. Cracks me up every time. I always want to scream, "I'm melting. I'm melting".

Sorry about the rant.

No problem. I love a good rant! I've been known to have a few (or more) myself. :rotfl:

How dare you make it rain on your brother's trip! You are one powerful woman... you can even create thunder & lightning!

:rotfl: Yup, that's me. All powerful Oz...oops, I mean Mary Ellen! I know he hated the rain, but it was really the exit out of the park that did him in. I probably should have warned him, but I was kind of afraid to.

I think you made a great choice to ride out the rain! Pirates is always fun, and at least it is one of the more interesting gift shops, with lots of cool things to look at (and play with! )

Pirates is the perfect choice to avoid the heat AND the rain! Plus, I love that ride. So classic! I did have fun taking pictures and posting on FB. I just hated seeing my nephews crash. That's tough when you are all the way in the back of the park.

I'm sorry your brother was having such a tough evening, I hope that it gets better after a good nights sleep!

It was a tough spot, but he woke up refreshed and ready to go so there was no more mention of the meltdown.

I can tell you about the shoes for me.....I have horrid feet. it's really hard to find shoes that fit and don't cause blisters. I have wide, large fat/flat feet...and I usually buy mens shoes to get them wide enough. :rolleyes2 So basically for comfy shoes I don't have many pairs that fit and I can walk in all day and not be crying by the end of it. When shoes get wet, they stretch and reform and my feet slide around in them and I get blisters...so for me. I don't want to buy another pair of $70 plus shoes. And I would never find a pair that works for me on Disney property. I also can't do flip flops. I can't even stand up with those because of the thing between my toes. I have no problem walking in the rain with a poncho...but if the water is flooding around.....then I'm not going to walk through it and ruin my shoes.

I get blisters really easily too and sometimes they are blood blisters. I agree that a soaking wet shoe or wet sock is definitely a set up for blister heaven. ugh!

Have you ever tried the tevas? I didn't think I could handle flip flops either, but I found them to be so comfortable and I can't feel the thong thing at all. The only problem with the tevas is they need a better arch.

Good grief, I go on vacation for a week and come back and I'm 12 pages behind over here, you are waaaay too popular missy! ;)

:rotfl2: I don't know how that happened, but this TR really took off. Welcome back! I hope you had a great time. I'd love to hear about your recent cruise.

All caught up on your updates. The treehouse villa looks perfect for a large group! But I would have been a little unnerved taking a shower with so many people in the house and no locks on the doors too :scared:

Yeah - the whole lack of lock thing was a little bizarre and I am glad we had no accidental peeping Toms in the villa. :rotfl:

Your lobster roll looks nothing like the yummy one I just had in Key West last week! Did I post a picture of that on FB? I can't remember...... Anyway, yours really did look like a mayo sandwich with a bit of lobster thrown in for good measure

I was on and off FB a lot, so I'm sure I missed some of your pics. But it sure sounds delish. I would love to try a lobster role heavy on the lobster and light on the mayo. I do love lobster!

So sorry that your brother was being so mean to you about things that you had no control over. Sounded like a man who was forced into a vacation that he didn't really want to take and he was determined to focus on the negative :(

That's what Cynthia said to. I really was hoping he wouldn't focus on the negative, but I guess it did start out that way. However, some pixie dust did eventually work its magic. pixiedust:

I love the pictures of POTC! :cool1:

Thanks! :) I got inspired by a lot of your low light pictures. I want that setting/mode!

Ugh, that rain sounds awful, but I don't think I've ever felt unsafe at Disney World when there is lightning...I mean, I suppose it's possible to get struck by lightning there, but I feel like it's pretty unlikely! :confused3

That's exactly how I feel. Seriously, have you ever heard of anyone getting struck by lightning in Disney? I never have. I would think those lightning rods pick up anything that comes close. I don't think they would have water parks in Orlando if there was any significant chance of that happening.

I had no idea the meltdown would be your brother, I figured it would be one of the kids! :rotfl:

You and quite a few other readers. The kids were actually good, for the most part. ;)

Glad they got to the ferry and back to the treehouse, but that's annoying that he didn't speak to you for the rest of the night. I hope the rest of the trip improved from then on! :goodvibes

He went to bed so I never even saw him again. We didn't talk too much the next day either, but the over all vibe was friendly. I am so relieved they caught the ferry.

Wow. That was the brother of all meltdowns. LOL! I hope the he gets filled with more pixie dust as time goes on.

Can't wait to read more!!

That night it really felt like the mother of all meltdowns. It was like the perfect storm - no pun intended - lack of sleep, rain, extra long lines leaving the park. :crazy2:

Fortunately, the pixie dust swoops in to save the day.

You did good on the pictures at POTC...just once I'd like to get one decent picture.

The meltdown was about the rain, shoes, ligthtening and the monorail line? Seriously? Sounds like something my middle brother would complain about.

You did good on the pictures at POTC...just once I'd like to get one decent picture.

Thanks! Next time try putting your camera in the Tv mode and adjusting the shutter speed so the shutter stays open longer. I don't think you can get pictures in a regular automatic mode.

They all sound like silly things but I really think my brothers lack of sleep is what made him so sensitive to the other things. Oh well, at least they got home in the quickest possible manner.

.

Or if you have the AV setting, put it there and adjust it to the lowest number it goes to..That will open the shutter bigger and automatically set the shutter speed to go with it. Need steady hands. if you have a manual setting thats the best to use because you can then set the f stop(how big the shutter opens) and adjust the speed too to work with you best. I would set the speed around 60.

Meltdown #1. Yup this TR is officially making me even more nervous about traveling w family in Nov.:scared::lmao:

We had the funniest flight crew EVER. We had Captain Mark as our pilot. Assistant captain Mark, Flight attendant Marc, and flight attendant Markie Mark. :rotfl2: These guys were a freakin' hoot. They were laugh out loud funny. Markie Mark was doing a little dance while he was showing us how to activate the emergency vest. His comment was "If you have two chlldren and the oxygen mask falls out of the ceiling, pick the kid with the most potential". Too freaking funny.

Joining in! This made me :lmao: I don't think we have ever had funny flight crews, so I have to live vicariously through the experiences I read in trip reports.

Well, I have to agree with your brother a little, I mean, how dare you make it rain on their first day?! :rolleyes2 I have family like that, and that's why I would never choose to vacation with them. It's hard when you want the kids to have a great time, but you know you have to endure the parents too! He was probably just super cranky because they had that long train ride!

Hope the rest of the trip, the attitude improves!!

I have a terrible time using the AV setting, but I think I need to play around with it more and see if I can get better results. Thats a great suggestion!

Meltdown #1. Yup this TR is officially making me even more nervous about traveling w family in Nov.:scared::lmao:

:rotfl2: I'm sorry. I would not wish a tense trip on anyone. I think a lot of it depends on the temperment of your family. My family tends to be very high strung, so meltdowns are inevitably. Hopefully, you have a nice cool and calm family! Hopefully! ;)

:welcome: Khertz! I'm so glad you decided to stop by! :cool1: This was definitely the best flight I have ever had - hands down. They had their little stick perfected. I'm sure not every passenger loved it, but I did.

I think he was super cranky from the train ride and I knew coming to Disney would never be his first choice of vacation, but I really wanted those kids to get a chance to go. Last night I was looking at their pics at the CP character meal and I KNEW I made the right decision to ask them. Their faces are lighting right up - its great!

Hope the rest of the trip, the attitude improves!!

It does, mostly! :rotfl:

Sorry about the rant.

I got married on 10/8/11 at the GF. It rained, no POURED all day. We were supposed to have the ceremony at the marina. Needless to say that didn't happen. I have to admit i was a little disappointed BUT we still got married AND went into the MK afterwards rain and all and had a fantastic day. Wedding finery and all. I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape over rain. I paid too much money to go all the way to FL and WDW not to enjoy every darn second of it. :)

:rotfl2: Oh My - Sounds like you WILL be in for a lot of drama. :rotfl2: Space is important. I think you can tolerate a lot more when you do have some "alone" time planned. Can't wait to hear about this trip!

:welcome: eacosper! And welcome to the DIS! How lucky you are to have a GF wedding! Rain and all, I am sure you had a fabulous time. Good for you for going to the MK in the pouring rain and continuing the celebration. I have visions of a bride in a beautiful white gown hiking up their dress so the bottom doesn't get muddy while walking around covered in a mickey mourse rain poncho. Love it!

Rain on your wedding is good luck!!!

A wet knot is a tight knot!!!

Rain on your wedding is good luck!!!

A wet knot is a tight knot!!!

I never heard that before, but it actually rained on my wedding day (well, it rained for 3 days before and finally stopped on my wedding day) and I have been married for 23 years.

I'm lurking here, and loving this report. Having just returned from a trip with family I can surely relate!

I have never seen rain like the rain on my wedding day 15 years ago. My DH is first generation Canadian of Italian descent, so didn't hear the "wet knot" comments, I heard "spousa bagniata, spousa fortunata" (wet bride, lucky bride). True for us!

:welcome: Feckless! Thanks for un-lurking! I hope you had a wonderful trip. Will there be a TR for this family adventure? Family trip always make for interesting reading! :rotfl:

Wow - I am learning so many great new sayings for wet wedding days! That's awesome that it held true for you and your DH!

Transportation Mojo.....or Not?

I wrote this update yesterday at work (shhhhhh!), but I forgot to email it home, so I am starting all over. Bummer!

Just wanted to say that:
1. I have links to all my updates, so you can always check the first page.
2. If I ever miss a post, please let me know. I like to reply to every post.

OK, moving on.........

When I left off last we had just arrived back to the treehouse after the "meltdown". Everyone was beat, so everyone headed straight to bed. I fell asleep in about 2 seconds flat and the next thing I knew it was Monday morning, June 11th.

It was actually still dark when I woke up, so I grabbed my phone to see what time it was. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was already 7am.

What? I jumped out of bed and opened the drapes. It was so dark in the room I figured it had to be raining outside. By no, the sun was starting to shine and it looked like the start of a beautiful day.

Now for many of you 7am may be early, but for me it is late. I am used to getting up at 5am to get ready for work. I was actually stunned that I had slept that long. So if you are an early riser, be prepared to sleep like at log at the treehouse villas. You might just need an alarm!

I quickly made coffee and got ready to go running. I wanted to be ready to leave for the park by 8:15 am. I was cutting it close.

Actually, I had mentioned at dinner the night before that I thought everyone should be ready to be out the door at 8:15 am. We were heading back to the MK and I was hoping to arrive as close to rope drop as possible. Of course, my early departure request was met by groans from my nephews. Well, alrighty then! I decided I would suggest things, but I certainly wasn't going to force anyone to do anything. That became my policy for the rest of the trip.

I was out the door by 7:15 am to start my run. I wanted to run over to the Grandstand to find the bus stop over there. I ran about 2 miles before I headed inside to get ready. I have to say that I love the running paths at SSR. It's a runners dream. So, so many options.

I saw this little guy on my way towards the Grandstand. I heard the rest of his buddies croaking away under the trees.

ae1c22d5.jpg

Unfortunately, this little guy was still in the same spot on my return run. that's when I realized he was dead. Yuck! I knew some castmember would have the pleasure of cleaning up the remains.

This picture gives you an idea of how much it rained the prior evening.

0104c515.jpg

When I got back to the villa I woke up Nick and then got ready for the park. I was ready to leave by 8:15 am, but my SIL was still running around cutting up a banana for one child and an apple for another and something else for a third child. It was pretty confusing in there, so I just decided to wait it out and see how things played out.

Finally, at 8:58 am we walked out the door.

Now here is where my morning started to go wrong. You see, sometimes I tend to be impulsive. Usually the more impulsive I am, the more I end up messing up my plans. I should know this by now!

It started innocently enough. As we were walking to the car, I noticed one of the internal buses. I decided that maybe it would be easier to just take that bus to the SSR bus stop. So I hopped on. Denny, Nick, Josh and LJ followed me. If I had done my research, I would have known that the internal bus was NOT headed for the Grandstand stop. Rather, that bus was headed for the Springs stop. Ughhhhh! Why did I not know this? I just assumed it would go to the Grandstand since that was the closest stop.

And, of course, the bus went all the way to the entrance near DTD, passed the Paddock, and let us off at the Springs just in time to miss the MK bus that my bro, SIL, and other nephews were on. :faint:

Ok, Ok, I told myself. It's only 9:11am. We'll be fine. Another bus will be along soon. Right?

Here are the boys happily waiting.

Here's Josh looking for the next MK bus.

Here's a shot I took after watching a HS, Epcot, AK, and DTD bus pass the first time.

Here's the same picture with my real camera as I was waiting for the condensation to wear off.

Here's a shot I took after I watched an HS, Epcot, AK, and DTD bus pass a second time.

IMG_2741.jpg

And a picture just for the h*)) of it!

IMG_2742.jpg

By now the bus stop was starting to get really crowded with other guests waiting to go to MK. We ended up waiting so long that I was starting to get nervous about our 10:20 ADR at CP. When a bus finally did pull up, I was doubtful that everyone would even get on. The Springs is the last stop and the bus was already standing room only. Plus, we had to wait for an ECV and its entourage to load.

I'm not going to lie when I tell you that when the bus doors finally opened, I pushed my nephews ahead of me in an attempt to get on the bus. I knew if we missed this bus we were now going to miss our ADR. It was hard for me to believe that we had been one of the first groups waiting for the MK bus and now we might actually not get on.

Well, you will be relieved to know that we DID get on. If not, I would already be writing about the second meltdown of this trip. :rotfl2: There are only so many meltdowns I care to write about.

So what time did we finally get through the turnstyles?

10:11am! That's right. It took an hour and 12 minutes to get to the MK. :faint:

I asked my SIL for everyone's ticket and told them I was going to get Space Mountain FPs. I told them to go check in for breakfast. I considered getting Buzz FP's for half the group, but then Denny started calling and texting me to tell me I needed to get back right away because they couldn't check in without me and we might lose our ADR if I was late. Oh brother.

Has anyone ever tried to put 9 park passes in the FP machine? It's a lot and when I was done I realized I only had 8 FPs. I tried putting them all back in to see which one I missed, but no dice. I gave up and starting race walking back to CP. It turns out that my park pass actually was failing and I needed to have it replaced later in the trip.

So what time did I get back to CP? 10:21am!

I went and checked us in and we still had to wait another 20 minutes to be seated.

At least I got a chance to take some pictures of the castle. I love the view from here.

IMG_2744-1.jpg

Here's the same pic with the top of the castle.

IMG_2745.jpg

I really need to learn how to use my photoshop so I can get rid of that crane.

One more. Just because!

IMG_2746-1.jpg

Finally we were seated.

IMG_2754-1.jpg

IMG_2750-1.jpg

IMG_2755-1.jpg

My bro and SIL hit the buffet in about two seconds flat. Actually, I guess they got up just to check it out before they took the kids up.

I stayed put because it was pretty obvious that we would be the next table to see this guy.

I love this pictures of my nephews, but where is Matt?

Even Pooh is wondering where Matt is

Come on Pooh. Work your magic because this kid doesn't want to join in on the fun!

You may be wondering what I had to eat. Well here is my plate all buffeted up!

I must have gone back for seconds just to take a picture of one of these

I do know that I LOVED that puffed french toast. Holy, heavenly sugar! Yum!

Breakfast was a success. My Bro's family loved it. For 7 adults and 2 children with the TIW discount and 18% tip the bill was $225. Well worth it to see those kids enjoy themselves so much!

Breakfast finished, we left CP around 11:40. It was already time to get another FP and time to ride Space Mountain.

I knew that my brother and the younger boys were not going to ride Space, so the question was, who would? My SIL declined so she could stay with the younger boys, but we encouraged Matt to go with us. I gave SIL back their cards and suggested some Fantasyland rides for FP". I also suggested Jungle Cruise and Buzz Lightyear. I gave them general directions and off we went. On the way over I picked up Buzz FP's for the 5 of us.

Space Mountain was loads of fun.

Here are some red neck ride photos.

The boys

Denny suggested I buy the picture for the boys, so I did a digital download that everyone could share.

I took a few cell phone pics from the exit of Space

Is that a Jalapeno margarita from the Ditch?

We used 5 of our FP's. With three remaining LJ, Matt, and Nick rode a second time. After the second time Matt was pretty much done with Space. He liked it, but he didn't love it. No matter, we only had to wait about 20 minutes for our Buzz FPs to come due.

We headed for the People Mover but the line was ridiculous and it appeared that the ride was temporarily down.

So as an alternative we went here. Nap central!

Now here's where I noticed an inconsistency or poor explanation of photography rules. The CM clearly said "No FLASH photography" before the show started, but then they nailed someone for having their camera out period. There is a difference between FLASH photography and photography. At the beginning of each ride I think it should be made clear which is specifically prohibited.

We tried to ride the People Mover again, but it still looked like everyone in the park was in that line. Here's what I'm talking about.

We waited another 4 minutes and hit Buzz just as our FPs became due.

With 5 people and 4 boys you can guess which one of us rode alone. Yup - Mwah!

You may think I'm done with the Buzz pictures, but I'm not. You know why? Because the ride stopped.

The inside of Buzz looks pretty cool

We stopped for awhile and I just kept shooting. We really weren't stopped that long when I hit this score.

Now what was I going to do?

I know - use the other side!

And then we stopped AGAIN!

And before I knew it - POW -

My second score of the game.

I found some high scoring targets. Too bad I'll probably never remember where they are again.

After Buzz the boys all decided they wanted ice cream. Really? I was still stuffed from breakfast so I waited while they ordered.

We were ready to move on. I was actually ready to leave. I know - horrors - but it was hot and it was getting more crowded by the minute. I suggested that we go over to Splash, pick up FP's, and come back later to use them.

I took no more pics until we got over there. I just put my head down and tried to pretend it wasn't really hot out.

Our FP return time was 4 - 5pm. I knew we weren't staying in the park that long. I was actually the one to suggest that we leave and come back in around 5 pm. I don't remember what time it was exactly, but we decided to get in line to take the train back to the front of the park.

The line was long - I know - shock!

But the worst part was when I ended up standing in direct sun. You have to remember that I am at an age where I already "run hot", so I can break out in a perfuse sweat and have my sun glasses steam just from standing in direct sunlight too long.

I tried to distract myself with a few pictures

After 20 minutes we were finally on the train. So far we had spent 1 hr 30 minutes on transportation. Oy!

Up Next - would our awesome (not) transportation mojo continue and would we make it back into the park for our 5pm FP expiration time???????
