Whats even funnier is this picture I now have of her.

And people say that manners have gone out the window....I guess this thread proves that. I am really surprised that you never heard "Congratulations to the groom, felicitations to the bride", I think that was even on an ALL IN THE FAMILY episode.

Really, not to put it on you at all, but I think the decline in manners in our country is appalling.

It took 17 posters before someone pointed out the wrongness of congratulations to the bride. I read each and every one hoping that the next would correct the previous wrongs.

I just think that is sad...manners have become passe'.

I just hope she keeps her dentures in and doesn't have too many 'senior moments' on her honeymoon.

Actually, two things happened.

Her company postponed for one year building their US facility.

In the interim, they gave my wife a serious promotion down here.

We were VERY upset about going up there. We went up there twice to look at houses, its just so expensive and the taxes are so high. I actually found a place in Va, it was less than an hour commute, 1,800 sq ft and 600k, 600k for what I considered a shack.

Discovery is going to continue to use outside vendors for their US feeds and hopefully decide that DC/Va/Ma are not the places in the country for the facility.
