Do children need any sort of identification documents to enter the parks? How about adults?

Thanks!!

Only if you are using tickets for Florida residents only, or perhaps if you have an adult trying to pass themselves off as a tall 9 year old.

Sometimes if your tickets do not work they will ask for ID. It never hurts to have ID on you.:goodvibes

You will if you want an ADULT BEVERAGE anywhere in wdw, plus for emergency reasons etc.it is always best to have ID on you.

For regular park entrance no.

If you are going on a special tour like Keys to the Kingdom with a minimum age requirement (extra cost), teens need to have a driver's license, passport, or other ID showing that they are 16 (the minimum age one is allowed to do this for liability reasons,)

You won't need it for park entrance, but as an adult you really should have ID on you.

I always carry my drivers license in the park with me, but you won't have to worry about using it unless you are proving residency or buying alchol. Kid's don't need ID at all. Parents are on the honor system to purchase the correct ticket, either child or adult, depending on their child's age. CMs will not ask for proof of age for children.

I always take mine, and am almost always asked for it when I make purchases via credit card. Also, I get very sick very easily/quickly, so in case of emergency I always carry it.

I've had to show mine a couple of times when my ticket didn't work right

i don't understand NOT bringing it with you. it's not like you are carrying a huge dictionary in your pocket. jeez.

Adults should always carry ID on them, in my opinion.

Reasons you may need ID at Disney:
- Your ticket doesn't work. They may ask for ID to verify the name on the ticket and you will need ID to replace a non working ticket.
- You want to buy alcohol. You will need ID to verify age.
- You could be asked for ID when using a CC or room charge (this seems random, but best not to be caught without).
- In case of an emergency it is always advised to have ID on you.

Really, it's not that hard to carry ID with you.

Adults yes, kids no. Unless the kids are traveling from another country. Then they should probably have a passport.

And, IMO, adults should always carry a picture of their kids on their person. It could be a lifesaver in an emergency.

I have had to show my ID numerous times. You need an ID to check into your hotel. You need it if there are any problems with your ticket or it gets lost. You need ID in case of a medical or non-medical emergency. You may need an ID as back up with a CC.

An adult should never leave home or go somewhere (out of a hotel room) without a picture ID. Just the smart thing to do. A picture ID is mandatory for taking any tour.

Alrighty, got it. Will stick it in the parks bag. I'm pregnant, so no alcohol purchases. I just didn't want to run the risk of losing it at the park and not being able to fly back home. Plenty of recent pics of DS on my phone, so all good there too.
