Will we make it? timeline?

Hi,

We are signed up to volunteer this Saturday the 6th ! We WERE going to go to DW this summer, however, my sister is going next week and we are planning a last minute trip and will now leave on Thurdsday the 11th in the afternoon.

Is there any way our vouchers will make it by then? What do you think the chances are? The place we volunteer with said they respond back as soon as they get the email from Disney.

I wouldn't count on it. The website and emails all say within 2 weeks, so you might, but you might not.

I agree. That is cutting it really close. You might want to have a back up plan in case you don't get them in time. I volunteered last Saturday and today (Thursday) I still don't yet have my vouchers. The website still says pending verification.

Tell the contact person w/the place your volunteering that you need to have the hrs reported ASAP.

We volunteered Saturday 27th & had our vouchers Tuesday 3/2 in the early a.m. Soooooo, seems like if the organization you help is quick, then turn-around time may be short....

We volunteered on a Saturday and had the vouchers Friday morning. Would your first park day be Thursday, or would it be Friday? If you have access to e-mail, you could probably either ask the concierge to print them if they come or you could print them at a business center (not sure where you are staying).

Thanks for your comments! We leave on Thursday, but our first day is Saturday. Maybe if it comes when we are there we can print it out.

You may be ok. When we volunteered, the organization verified it the next day and we had the vouchers 3 days later, so 4 days all together. Hopefully you'll get yours soon too!

We did our volunteer work - dropped off blankets on Tuesday and got our vouchers Friday morning. Less than three days! Good luck!

You may get them...Many do get them within 4 days. The org has 72 hours to verify so hopefully they will verify right away.

Also, even if you dont get the vouchers, you can ask Disney to look it up in their computer. They will have a record of it and can print the vouchers for you. This will buy you some time because if you participate on Saturday, the org should have it verified by Tuesday -- so even if you dont get the voucher by Thurs you should be in the computer by Thurs for Disney to look you up!
