Yes you will be fine. Even if you rent a car or do the magical express to AKL you should be fine- with generous amounts of time for waiting on bags, traffic and checking in, you should be good for a dinner after 6pm.

Is the issue here that you have a reservation for T.Rex that you are trying not to miss? I ask because T.Rex operator Landry's has a VIP card that you purchase for $25, but you receive an instant $25 credit on your first usage, you also get a $25 credit during your birthday month. The other perk is that you get priority seating so you go to the front of the line of walk-ins. Landry's also operates Rain Forest Cafe & Yak & Yeti, they have hundreds of other locations & restaurants around the country. I'm not a big fan of this sort of thing but in this case I think it's pretty worthwhile. Not sure when your trip is planned, it takes about 7-10 days to receive the card in the mail. The front of the line privilege could be really useful during a WDW trip.

This is exactly what we do. I highly recommend the Landry's Select Card. You can show up at TREX (and Rainforst and Yak & Yeti) and get priority seating so there's no need to rush around to try to get to a reservation. If it's your "birthday" month (can be any month you'd like), you also get $25 off your check.

Our reservation is at four so wasn't sure if four hours is enough time for Magical Express then check in at AKL then get to Disney Springs?
Is TRex on the dining plan? We were considering buying that?
