Will we have time?

I hope this is the right forum for this question...I debated the theme park and transportation boards too...

We are planning on going to MVMCP on our arrival day and I had planned on a LTT dinner at around 5:30 to fuel up for the party. The closest ADR I could get to that time and be done by 7:00 was 4:10.

Here is my dilemma: Our flight is scheduled to arrive at 1:55 and we are planning on taking DME to the POFQ. Will we have enough time to check in and get to MK at 4:00 and then (since our party ticket is the only ticket we are planning on using that day) from the MK gate to LTT for the 4:10 ressie?

TIA!

It'll be very tight. I typically budget ~2hr between the time I land and the time I'm at a park, and that's solo, with just dumping bags off in the room. With this 2hr window, that would put it at 3:55, which would be fine. However, there's very little wiggle-room. Any delay will likely eat away at that time and make you late. Rushing around to get to an ADR is also note likely to be your ideal start of a trip :)

I'd keep looking for a 5:30+, or just skip the TS and grab CS and let whatever happens happen.

I hate to be the breaker of bad news, but I don't think so. If your plane lands on time, you still have to get off the plane and make it over to ME (we always have to take a potty break as well), wait (could be walk right on, but I have waited 20 min or so), ride to the resort (about half an hour or longer), check in (could be 10 min, could be 45), and then get on the bus to MK (assuming you don't drop stuff off at your room). I think expecting to get to the park by 5:00 or 5:30 would be hopeful.

My rule of thumb is to allow 3 hours from getting off the plane to walking through the turnstiles of a park so I concur that you won't make it to a 4:10 dinner reservation. It would be hard for me to start a trip with this much stress. Rather than a TS, I would suggest a CS meal before the party.
