I'm just wondering if it's possible to be in MK and watch Wishes at 8 pm, and make it to the Poly for dinner at 9? Not sure how long Wishes lasts, or how long it would take to get to the Poly afterwards. Would appreciate your thoughts

Maybe-- if you are back at the very entrance of Main Street (very near the exits) at the start of Wishes, then are ready to book on out of there as soon as Wishes gets over to beat the crowd to the monorail you'll probably make it with a little time to spare. Make sure you scope out the route to the resort monorail when you go in to the park so you can make a fast exit after Wishes. The ramp to the monorail fills very, very quickly after Wishes so you'll want to be at the head of the pack there or could be a long wait for the monorail.

I'm wondering this too since I want to watch the 8pm Wishes, and make it to the Grand FLoridian Cafe for 8:55. Should I just take the car to the TTC that day?

I'd watch wishes from the beach at the Poly then stroll over to your restaurant.

1) My guess is that you won't get out of the park until 8:25pm-8:30pm
2) Then, you have to wait behind lots of folks for transportation.
3) UNLESS,
. . . you watch from near the train station tunnel
. . . before Wishes ends, you run under the tracks and to the boats
. . . the monorail will take too long to make the circuit
. . . many people leave early to avoid the crowds
. . . you would be stuck in that mob
. . . it will be simply a matter of luck
