Our tent camping trip to FW is coming up vewy vewy soon - only 11 more days now!
Some of you may recall that hubby and I bought a tent recently (former TT owners, new tenters, longtime FW lovers) and took it out for a one-night tryout at a nearby state park.
Our 20yo DD is coming to FW with us, and her boyfriend is coming along as well. Boyfriend has his own tent, and we had planned on buying a small tent for DD to use.
The tent we bought for ourselves is 12x10, and while it probably should have been perfectly adequate for the two of us, hubby has since decided that he doesn't want to spend a week in the thing, because isn't tall enough for him to stand up straight anywhere except the exact middle. So we went tent shopping again, and ended up buying this bad boy, which is 19x10, and way bigger than the two of us need, but in which hubby can comfortably stand:
We figured that now DD can have the medium sized tent, and we won't have to buy the little one.
So, we now have one tent that's 19x10, one that's 12x9, and a third one (the boyfriend's), that is probably something like 10x10.
My question is - assuming we get one of the larger sites on the 2000 loop, will we be able to squeeze all 3 tents on it? If not, no biggie, DD can just sleep in our big tent with us, but we'd prefer to give her the privacy of her own tent, if possible.
So, what do you guys think?
