i know how most of you feel about such things but will we as renters be allowed to attend the DVC preview of the new "the seas with nemo and friends" on october 14 and 15?

For any of the DVC previews you must have a blue DVC membership card. Or be with a member with a blue membership card.

No you won't. You'll need the DVC card to get in.

It's a members perk, not a resort guest perk, thus it's members only.

While renters receive all regular WDW resort benefits, such as free parking at the parks, etc, they are not entitled to DVC member perks which require the DVC owner's card.

At the Expedition Everest preview they required the MEMBER card (not the room key) and a photo ID

So those of you going who think that taking a photo ID is a waste, TAKE IT! They may not be as picky for this (I can't imagine the turnout being as great. I planned a trip for EE, I would not do that for this. Maybe they won't be as picky, but better safe then sorry)

I am so glad that I have been on the boards, taking all the ID's and Member cards into the parks is not what I usually do. I will do so. For the renters, get a annual pass if you are going to be there on those dates.

We are DVC members and AP holders, our friends coming with us are not. Will they be able to go on the preview with us.

We weren't able to go to the EE DVC opening as guests, but by that next week, the ride was open enough for us to be able to ride. Hope it works out for you!
