Will we be able to do this?

Hello Everyone,

Fairly new here to posting, but have been around getting great info for a long time...

We've done family trips in the past, but this time it will just be DD 10 and myself. We are arriving mid-afternoon, I've checked times and learned Wishes will be at 7 pm that evening.

I was hoping to take the boat to WL for our 8:10 pm PS, will we be able to see Wishes? What will be the best time to get on the boat? Afterwards we want to catch EWP, where will be the best place to do this?

I'm not positive you can see Wishes from over there, I believe the Contemporary will block the view. We have watched the EWP though, we just walked down to the beach and sat down - it came by after a short while. If you watched Wishes on Main Street and ran out right after you should be able to catch a WL boat in time for your PS, you just want to make sure you are well ahead of the crowd so you don't miss a boat. You could also watch most of the fireworks from outside the entrance to the park, near the boat dock.

Actually we won't be going into the parks on that day, should have worded that better.

Is there a way to see Wishes without going into the parks? That's why I was wondering about the boat. We will probably see Wishes from inside the parks 2 different times later in the week, but thought it would be cool to see it that first evening also.

We have a relaxed laid-back first evening planned and I just thought seeing Wishes would add to that.

The beach or marina at the Poly is a great place to see Wishes and they will pipe in the music. then you can hop the monorail over to MK and take the boat to the WL. If that is too crowded, take the monorail to the Contemporary and then boat over to the WL.

Since this our first time going to WL I wasn't sure of the best way and times, so thank you for the help
