Yeah, I thought that was pretty slick. And convenient.
You know something else I noticed? A whole lot more places to sit down.

What kind of drinks? How long are the lines? Will I have time to finish it before boarding rides? I'm not throwing away booze...
We will be at Universal hopefully during second week of December after our RC cruise. Going on a Sunday afternoon and all day Monday, so hopefully won't be too bad.
I pray that they don't start selling alcohol. There is nothing worse than being in the company of a person who is drinking if you are a teetotaler like me.
Do I really want to be on a roller coaster with people who have been drinking alcohol for 45 minutes before getting on?
I guess that is what I always liked about Magic Kingdom. There was a better chance that you could go the whole day without running into an inebriated drunk. Nothing against alcohol as I enjoy a good micro-brew or wine, but I can only imagine 90 minute SB lines, hot, humid days, and drunkenness and the chaos that would ensue.
From memory, the Harry Potter stuff and the train stations have vending carts in the queues. I didn't look at all the beers but it appeared that several were "themed". With the average wait times for Escape from Gringotts and Forbidden Journey somewhere in the 45 minute range, there's plenty of time to finish a brew as the carts are outside where the queue starts. Inside the train stations, I wouldn't do it - the vending station is closer to the end where you queue up for the train.

I've never seen anyone wasted at WDW, I guess I'm just lucky. I don't mind drinking or being around people who are drinking, but the hot sun and the jerky rides would seem like a bad combination with a few cocktails. Not my idea of a good time.
As for the guy who peed on the tram: That's why they tell you to wait behind the yellow line.
Same here. I've only made it to F&W twice and have never seen anyone completely far gone. I have on occasion, but only cause I keep forgetting how strong the La Cava margaritas are![]()
