Will tickets go up on current ressies?

Sorry if this has been covered before...but regarding the price increase on Thursday. I have an October ressie that I am still paying on (total due 8/26) so technically I have not "purchased" my tickets yet. Does this mean that they will apply the new rates to the tickets in my package come Thursday...will my total due go up? It does say "ticket prices as of 8/5/10" and since I won't be finished paying for them until after that date, I'm a little worried. The price difference for my family will be about $100, which doesn't seem like a lot, but this trip is already stretching us. Also, I know paying by Thursday would take care of my problem, but that is not an option for us.

Thanks!

No, not unless you make some change to your package. Your contract remains as it was; your price will not go up, regardless of whether you've paid in full.

Ok, here is how the Ticket Price Increase affects or doesn't affect you...

If you have a...

2010 WDTC Package staying at a Disney owned & operated Resort booked anytime:
The price increase doesn't affect you as Package prices are set for the entire year for their Resorts.

2010 WDTC Package staying at Downtown Disney Resorts, Swan & Dolphin, Good Neighbor Hotels booked August 5 and later: The price increase does affect the new package

2010 WDTC Package staying at Downtown Disney Resorts, Swan & Dolphin, Good Neighbor Hotels booked before August 5 and not changed: Price will not change

2010 WDTC Package staying at Downtown Disney Resorts, Swan & Dolphin, Good Neighbor Hotels booked before August 5 and changed later: Price will change

2010 Room Only plus KTTW Tickets booked and tickets paid for before August 5: Any changes will not affect the ticket prices as they were paid in full before the price increase.

2010 Room Only plus KTTW Tickets booked on or after August 5: Since tickets were not paid for before the price Increase, the new prices would stand.

Hope this helps...:cool1:

So if I understand correctly, if I were to book a 2010 WDTC package today I would still get the tickets at the old price despite the fact they have now increased? And if I were to make changes to my existing WDTC package, even changing the ticket entitlements, I would still get my tickets at the lower pricing? Interesting...learn something new every day. Thanks for the info, :tigger:

I decided to test this out over on the Disney site, booking a package and what not.

It would be the old pricing for tickets and park hopper, NO CHANGE!
