Will ticket prices rise in Jan?

I read a rumor of park ticket prices rising in Jan. I was wondering how much credit should be given to this rumor and if so, how much we could expect tickets to go up. We want to take a 6-person trip in June/July and want to keep the price as low as possible and are basing the budget on prices now. I'm leery to buy the tickets now as that is one of the last things we take care of before our trip and don't want to necessarily fork out the money now as we will have it saved by the end of May according to our current savings plan. Any help would be appreciated!

I would guess this is a pretty reliable rumor: It's simply the right timing and circumstances for an increase.

Sea World has increased their ticket prices as of January 06...so it's likely that Universal and Disney will soon follow step.
