Will this hurt my cat?

A friend just dropped off a hyacinth for Easter. I have 5 cats that love to chew on plants, will this plant hurt them? I don't know a thing about plants, and I don't want to leave it in the house if they would get sick.

So glad to help... I have two precious kitties of my own so I worry about things like that all the time too. Glad your kitties will be safe... give them all a hug for me

Easter lilies are toxic also. Cats have very sensitive livers that can't handle a lot of toxins- things that would make even a small dog just a little sick will kill a cat of the same size.

My cat will eat any plant/cut flowers - so we put them in places that he can't get to!
