Will they seat us together?

My IL's are supposed to be at WDW when we go. No big deal. I've already booked my ADR's for CM and CRT as 4 people. I don't want to book as 7 just in case they don't want to dine that day or something and then I get stuck trying to change it to 4 and not getting in. They aren't the biggest planners and BIL and SIL are young and probably will be out and about doing their thing.

Anyway if I book them a table for 3 is there any chance they can get seated near us??? Can we ask or is it unlikely?

DH told me just to book 1 or 2 meals all together and the rest they can decided. I thought CM would be great and maybe CP when I'm allowed to book that.

Call and make a separate reservation and ask that the two seatings be linked in their system.

But honestly, give them the phone number and let them do it themselves. If they can't get the same times as you or don't want to go, they can decide for themselves.

Yeah that's what I'm about to do because I can never get a definite answer from anyone! I don't even know if they are definitely going!

We had ressies at 1900 Park Fare on 9/15 originally for 4. We then wanted to add 3 more people but they didn't have a table for 7. So instead we got the second table for 3 and for the same exact time.

We ended up running late to our ressie but once we checked in, the CM's automatically put us all at one table without us even asking. We didn't wait very long to be called for it either.

WOULD NOT make an additional reservation at CRT because it is pre-paid and you will be out money if they don't show!. Or, would make them use their credit card!
