Will they move my luggage from WLV to BCV, any tips?

We are staying in February for two nights at WLV and 5 nights at BCV. Will Disney move our luggage from our room or do we have to bring it to the desk and ask them to move it. Has anyone done this before and can you give us some tips?!

Disney will transfer luggage from one resort to another (as long as both are Disney resorts). Just tell Bell services when they pick up your luggage where you want the luggage transferred to. It should be there by 4:00 pm.

We have done this with no problems and are doing it again on our next trip. We tend to tip a bit more for the service at both ends.

They will move it for you, absolutely no problem. They will even move your perishables and keep them refrigerated if you let them know. One tip: if some of your items need to be frozen (ice cream,etc) I would pack those separately and take them over to the new resort yourself, IF you have a car. Bell services will put them in a freezer for you. If you don't have a car, then still package the freezer items separately and let them know. They will do their best to keep those items colder, but if there are a lot of people transferring, sometimes the freezer items suffer a bit.
