I purchased 4 7 day Advance purchase tickets in April of 2008 from Universal on line, we never used them since plans changes.

I paid 81.00 per ticket(I got the tip here).

Will these tickets work still?? Is does not say the expire.

They will work as long as you have NOT used them AT ALL yet.

They expire 6 days after you use it the first day.

You may want to arrive early and check in with the customer service window. I had some old tickets from a few years back and they did work, but I had to have them changed over to current tickets to work in the turnstiles. Something about the code needing to be current format.

i bought 3 adult & 3 child 2 day park hopper 3rd day free tickets in 2006 for our trip then, and we never picked them up or went due to other issues.

I figured they were gone, money lost.

I emailed Universal last week - from my name and email they found my tickets and gave me the claim number, so I have tickets! they were non-expiring...

problem is, group is 2 adults, 2 teens, & 1 child, so I'm short 1 adult ticket and have 2 extra kids tickets...

oh well, at least I only have to buy 1 ticket! WWOHP here we come!

So, I suggest you call their customer support or email them. I emailed them at 10pm one night, and had a call at 2pm the next day (5pm Orlando time!)

have fun!

Your tickets will be good. You won't need to stop at Guest Services because the barcode is correct on the tickets from 2008. Some older tickets used a different type of barcode but by 2008, they were the same as used today.

I did the same thing you did. Bought 2 park 7 day tickets back in 2008 when I heard about Harry Potter. We went to Universal last weekend and they worked fine. I printed them back in 2008 and they were the actual tickets. They scanned the bar code on the paper and we had to use our fingerprint with the ticket--same thing Disney does. Just make sure the same person uses the same ticket. Mine actually had our names on them--I don't remember adding our names but that was two years ago. I kept the tickets in a ziploc bag since they were paper. We even park hopped one day with no problem. Have a great time!

Our niece used a 7 day ticket we bought at AAA back in 2008 in mid July w/ no problems.

Agree, they will work.:thumbsup2

Last week I used a 2/7 e-ticket that I had purchased online in 2007, and successfully and easily upgraded to an annual pass at Guest Relations.

You can just upgrade one of the kids tickets to an adult ticket. Don't buy a whole new ticket.
