They'll probably be some around in ten days...generally we see them in June and September.
They are absolutely harmless, they're just annoying.
My DD5 freaks out about them just because they're bugs and they fly aimlessly. My son and husband try to lighten things up by telling them to "get a room" but DD doesn't find it ammusing.
If your daughter is just freaked out by bugs on GP don't let her wear white. Supposedly they're attracted to the color white.
Hmmm, I heard they were only around for about 2 weeks? And they've been otu for about a week already? I'm guessing they'll be pretty much gone in 10 days!
I've heard when it gets a little cooler, they will be done. Repellent isn't going to help. They aren't after YOU ... they are after a little love ... from their own kind. Mostly just flying around already attached to their true love ... until they are done and another true love comes along ?
But a day with DISNEY LOVE BUGS is better than a day without LOVE BUGS anywhere else ... except maybe if you were in Disneyland.
Maybe it is the start of a Year of a Million Bugs???
There is no love bug repellant. These harmless little things don't have that much of a life span. If they are there in 10 days, treat it as a new experience. I find love bugs refreshing since they only survive to make some kids.
