Will there be any GOTG soft openings??

We are thinking of bagging going into the parks at all during our vacation next week because of the oppressively hot weather predicted...but, if anyone knows if there will be GOTG soft openings, I may be "persuaded to perspire!" Any scoop?

Most of next week is already filled with AP and DVC previews, I wouldn't expect any openings beyond that.

Unlikely. The old "soft openings" have been replaced by AP, DVC, Club 33 and other previews. With the last few rides, those previews have gone right up to the official opening of the ride.

I think I know the answer to this but--hoping against all hope--->does it count if I am renting a DVC room (non-member) while there? Can I do the DVC preview if I am staying in a DVC room? lol

Reservations have to be made for previews and they are already all taken.
And the dvc reservations were for owners.
So unfortunately you’re out of luck.
But have a great trip nonetheless!
