i remember the snacks at mk had a little red flag saying they were approved for the dining plan
anything like that:thumbsup2
anything definately not on the plan? maybe they will flag what is not on the meal plan.. i have read the menus and just wandering if all that is served will be approved...

There is a special line for the meal deal -- when you go through the line all your available options are there for you to chose from ( at least this is how they did it in october)
 
It's not always clear or well marked. There may or may not be a separate line, depending on when you go and how busy it is. But you can always ask if you're not sure.

As a general rule of thumb, at the Meal Deal restaurants pretty much everything is included. The exceptions are specialty items such as floats (at Mel's) and fancy desserts. One entree, one side and one dessert..."meals" like a burger and fries are generally included, and you can substitute onion rings. Just make sure the cashier knows it's a substitution, though you'll usually end up with both.

It's really pretty easy. The restaurants are very used to large quantities of Meal Deal guests, most of whom have absolutely no idea what they're doing :confused3
