Will the Stitch ride have a height requirement?

Just wondering if anyone knew whether the Stitch ride will have a height requirement. I'm pretty sure Alien Encounter had a 44 inch height requirement, so I'm thinking the Stitch ride may be the same way. DS will be disappointed because there's no way he's growing 6 inches in 5 months LOL. Anyone know?

I believe it will have the same height requirement, from what I have heard it is the same seats as alien encounter so the height requirements is for the part that comes down over your shoulders.

Wow, that would be disappointing for my DD, 3. She also would need to grow 6 inches to ride it if it is open when we go in Sept. With the growth spurts she's been having, she might make it to 40" (with a little assistance from big hair and think soles ) I sure hope the height minimum does change because it seems as if many in the "target audience" would be too short to ride.

I think they do think about the target audience, but the ride is designed with state of the art sound and in order to experience it, the shoulder harness has to come down and fit appropriately. The speaker system is in the harness, which just can't be made to fit the smaller guests, unfortunately.

If it's ANYTHING like Alien Encounter, i would not bring a young child in to it. That was one scary exp, IMO. They haven't said it's going to be much different...

Everything I've read referred to this as "family friendly" or something similar. I'm interpreting that, possibly naively, as not too intense. Of course, if the 44" height is still in effect, it could be more intense than if the height were unrestricted or even 40". Oh well, I guess it just gives us another reason to plan trip #2.
