Will the price difference for DLH be worth it?

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback. Just ended my two night stay at DLH and absolutely adored it! My new favorite. It's going to be hard staying anywhere else from now on. From the moment I got off the DRE I was overcome by Disney magic. The gingerbread house in the lobby, the decorations, the room! The room was beautiful, big, and those headboards! Love. Had a room on the 14th floor of the Frontier tower with a balcony. I loved being in the Disney bubble the whole time. The walk through DTD was so nice. It didn't feel that long as there's so much to see. Plus a Starbucks on the way. Lol.

EMH at 7am we did DCA, which was great as most people were doing DL. Got in RSR, ToT, TSMM and Soarin by 8am. Headed to DL for a HSM fastpass. Did the welcome to Disneyland Tour, where we rode the Little Mermaid and Pirates with the guide. They offered us priority seating for Aladdin or Mickey and the magical map, dinner reservations, and good-all-day fastpasses to Star Tours and Indiana Jones (which I couldn't use due to DD's height so they offered anything I wanted instead, got BTMRR). Overall, a quick trip but an amazing trip.

Personally, I would not spend the extra money (and yes, I have it to spend) because the difference just isn't worth it

Glad you had a great trip and loved the DLH! We sure do too. The Welcome tour sounds great - you get some good ride perks for sure. Thanks for the info.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! :hyper2: Hope you are already looking forward to your next visit. With your visit being so short, there is no way you could have seen everything. You have a lot of exploring left to do! I can get a cup of coffee and walk around the DLH/grounds for hours. I like the art work, historic pictures, seeing the faces of little and big children as they enter the DLH for the first time and are met by Goofy or Mickey. I take pictures of people I do not know just to capture the big smile they have. I am over 50 now and still look forward to visiting the DLH and parks whenever I get the chance. I hope you continue to look forward to your next visit as well :teleport:
