Will the parks be a nightmare this summer?

With the capacity increases, lack of FastPass, limited park hopping and still many attractions closed, what will the parks be like this summer (early Aug)? They need to add back closed attractions/stage shows/people eaters to absorb the crowds soon with many popular attractions still not running.

DHS: Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, Fantasmic, Little Mermaid, Jedi Training Academy
MK: MiLF, Enchanted Takes w/Belle, Parades, Fireworks
Epcot: Turtle Talk
Animal Kingdom: Finding Nemo the Musical

Any word on the Extra Magic Half Hour in the morning? I really miss the days of 3 hours in the evening for EMH...

Thoughts?

Playing the "wait and see" game for our trip in July. Hoping there are reopening plans, but staffing is likely a problem. I'm cautiously optimistic, but braced for the worst.

I think there might be some growing pains in June and then July/August will settle into a good stride. And June could be offset by a stream of exciting changes thru the month.

It’s really really hard to say because things are literally changing almost weekly. It’s POSSIBLE more rides/entertainment will be brought back. It’s POSSIBLE FPs could be back. But the reality is, no one knows.
That being said, anytime I go to Disney (preCOVID and now) I always pack my patience. There will be lines (there always have been), it WILL be miserably hot (luckily you can have your mask off outside now), and there will be a lot of people. As more and more people are getting vaccinated, more and more people are traveling.
So the real answer iis probably yes, it COULD be miserable. But if you go into it with low expectations and a good attitude, it could be the best trip you ever have.

I think the return of the College Program in June is a "game-changer" that will help greatly with staffing-I look for more openings as soon as they hit town.
