Will 'The Last Jedi' impact Hollywood Studios this December?

Hey guys!
After watching the teaser for The Last Jedi, I had a thought. It's set to premier on December 15th. I'm assuming Studios will be doing something that day to mark the occasion? But what about the days following? We'll be there the 17th through the 20th, and I'd honestly figured we might not go to Studios at all since we're focusing on Christmas stuff and the Osborne lights are no longer there and I'm not a huge fan of that Jingle Bell Jingle Bam thing (at least from the Youtube perspective). BUT, if there's going to be serious Star Wars stuff going on because of the film's release, I might make more of an effort to work it in. I figured they probably wouldn't even be having the Star Wars nighttime show because JBJB would be running in its place. But given the movie's release...???

What do you guys think? Any word on anything special?

Nothing yet but they did do a special release party at DHS for the force awakens.

Like rteetz said, they did a ticketed movie/HS after hour event for Force Awakens, but they didn't do anything for Rogue One.

If they do another after hour ticketed event, or anything else special, we'll likely hear about it around November. I wouldn't count on it though since they didn't do anything for this past movie.

I guess because Rogue One is kind of a spin-off and The Last Jedi is an actual episode in the series, I figured it might be a bigger deal. It's a bigger deal to me, LOL, as I've not even seen Rogue One yet, but will definitely go to a theater to see The Last Jedi.

I guess if there is anything though, it'll probably just be on the release day and not the days following, when we'll actually be there.

However there was one planned for Rogue One they just never did it. I'd expect one for Last Jedi as this will likely be a bigger movie than Rogue One.

No.

There's always a strong Star Wars presence at HS now, but nothing special was done prior to the movies
