Will the hotels hold your luggage?

Our flight will arrive at 11 AM. Check in is not until 3 PM. We'd like to head straight to the park rather than have to wait to check in. The resort will hold our luggage won't they? Also, we plan to spend the first day at a park all day...meaning we won't check in until 10 PM or so - is this allowed? We don't have park hopping passes so we can't just leave the park to check in and go back.

Same thing with departure - our flight leaves around 5 PM and we'd like to do something for a few hours that day as well. But checkout is 11 AM ...

Not only will they hold your luggage, but when we arrived early at OKW (in a car) we unloaded about 12 bags of groceries and they held them too, and even put the stuff that had to stay cold into a refrigerator!

You can check-in at any time on your date of arrival and certainly prior to 3 pm; you just may not get into your room before then. If you do check in early and your room is not available, you can leave your bags at the resort and head to a park.

Same thing with check out - they will hold you bags even after you check out.

Finally, you can leave and return to the same park on the same day, even without a park hopper ticket. You just can't leave one park and then go to a different one.

For real? You can leave the park and go back to the same park? They give you a stamp? If that's the case we may just leave and come back... so we can at least put our luggage in the room and not have to worry about it at 10 PM when we are tired.

Just check-in first. They'll probably have a room ready and then you can rest up before going to the park.

At the park, before you leave, just ask for a handstamp. When you reenter, they'll just check your handstamp and your ticket and you'll be all set.

Heck, if you didn't feel like eating in the park, you can pop out and go have a meal at one of the closer resorts and then pop right back in to the park. You just won't be able to go to another park that day, but you can certainly go in and out of the same park as many times you want during that day.

While 3:00 is the offical check-in, often they will get you in earlier. It depends, obviously, on how full the resort is. One thing to do is request early check-in on your ressie.

Also, depending on when you trip is, you could use the Magical Express. That way you don't even touch your luggage until it's in your room.

Yes we have magical express... I guess I thought they just transport you.. I guess they hold the luggage

I am going to be splitting my stay between FW cabins and OKW 2 brdm (renting points) I was just going to buy enough groceries for 2 days then shop again when I got to OKW.. but if they will hold them that would be better.... Do you think they will do that????

Another thing we do on check out day. We get a locker, at the pool, with a change of clothes, and our suits. Send the rest of the luggage to baggage.

We head for the parks, and then come back, have a quick swim, get cleaned-up, and head for the airport. There was even a hairdryer in the bathroom. We were more refreshed than just heading for the plane, from MK.
