Will the crane be up in Magic Kingdom?

man, this is disappointing. i leave next week, and half of my party of four has never been before. i was hoping their first impressions of the castle would be without that ugly thing.

I sympathize with you. The crane was up during Spring break 2012 and friends and family who had flown in from across the country for a family member's wedding, had the Castle-crane view. They did have a wonderful time and I don't think it marred their memories as much as it did the bride and groom's.

Our very first impression of the Castle was in early 1997 when it looked like a blow-up, bounce house Birthday Cake. Our DDs loved it!!

The crane is scheduled to be up until sometime in March.

Ugh, this is my 70 year old moms first trip and I was hoping it would not be in all our pics.
