Will the AP Lounges be open this summer?

Last year the AP lounge at EPCOT was such a nice comfortable retreat from the August sun.

Has anyone heard if they will have AP lounges this summer?

Would really like to know an answer to this also! I haven't got to take advantage of that little perk yet. LOL

I think they closed last fall. They weren't open at Christmas time.

Given that the May issue of the Mickey Monitor had no mention of any new AP lounges, I'm not expecting to see any new ones. I agree that the one at Epcot was great last summer. It really was an excellent place to relax and meet up with friends.

I agree with Pammy. You would have seen something said about them in the current MM since that issue covers most of the summer season.

I believe that those lounges are now used for guests that purchased certain packages through Disney, so I don't think us AP holders will be given access anymore (unless people with the packages don't seem to be using them of course).
